It sounds like everyone is eager to get started on a new challenge so I'll start things going. Post your goals here!
For me:
1) Stay at or below goal 2) Exercise 3-4 times a week (find something as many APs as spinning was since I am missing my morning spin classes with DS in afternoon kindergarten) 3) COOK dinner 3-4 times/week 4) Try one new recipe a week
Good luck everyone!!!!!!!

I'm in! My goals:
1. Exercise every morning before work, and lift weights 3x/week. My goal is to earn 20-28 APs per week. 2. Do not eat potato chips or anything made from white flour. 3. Drink at least 64 oz water/day. 4. Post here more often! 5. No caffeine after 11:00, so that I can sleep at night.

So far, so good. I had to go to work yesterday, but I got up early and earned 4 APs at the gym. Food-wise, I stayed on track, eating no junk food. My challenge today is to make sure I drink more water.

I'm in too! Thanks for taking the initiative to get this started, Beth!!
My goals (I like your simple plan, Cynthia!):
Keep track, report, stay accountable...whatever that will mean.
Keep up with the cardio ... at least 30 minutes daily, really try for more.
Lose this weight I've been complaining about!

So glad to see everyone is back and posting!
The next two weeks are very challenging for me, and I wish I would honestly say I would workout at 5 am before DS gets up but that's just not a realistic goal for me. So my first workout of the week will be on Thursday. I am hoping to WI early Thursday morning instead of Friday because we are going out on Thursday night for a nice dinner for our anniversary. Hopefully I will be able to keep all of the balls in the air during this juggling act. I am also working on not feeling guilty with DS since this is my first venture back to work after being home with him for 5 years. He's not used to me saying "Mommy has to go to work" and I don't want him to feel like he's being passed off onto people that are helping out. In any case, things should calm down once we get to Rosh Hashanah next week.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
-Beth

Ok I am going to start this right.
Shopping this morning with my son: Chicken Fruit Polenta Yogurt shredded wheat canadian bacon etc.
We are also going to have a bike ride to celebrate the end of summer. Tomorrow he starts 3rd grade and away we go with the school year. It feels great to be back amongst so many familiar faces!
UPDATE - 6PM I did really great with the food. Bought all the core foods on my list and only used 1 point today. We got too busy for the bike ride but are going to take one tomorrow after school.

Hi all,
Well I had a really good day. Biked 4 miles with my son Max and also stayed core for the entire day (took points for the bun on my veggie burger). I am glad to be back on core and also see so many folks that were with me on this journey in the beginning.

Still slogging away at returning to a core mind set and series of habits. Making slow progress but it sure does help to be posting here regularly.
Have a great day, Tricksters!

Hi, Jane!! It feels good to have everyone back, seems like we are still missing a few and I hope they are lurking and write soon! Yikes a terrible WI gained 3 lbs. last night...this is a slap in my face to get going...which I already am, so rather than make excuses like I didn't eat 3 lbs. of fat last week...I did have some meals out, the salt you know... I am exercising more again, maybe some muscle gain?...blah blah I am sticking to plan as much as I can and will re-read my challenge goals over and over again... Have a great day everyone!
