I know what you mean about missing a few meetings and dreading that WI - I missed two meetings this month and went this Wednesday - I had gained .4! Actually, I was relieved - the way I was feeling, I was sure I gained 5! I didn't have the nerve to step on my home scale before I went, so I didn't have a clue.
I really like my meetings, even though I'm the only one on Core - I live in a very rural area and we have small meetings held at a local VFW hall. I've attended meetings at WW centers when I've traveled and they're realy wonderful - larger attendance and a very diverse group, which is refreshing.
Good to be here!

Hi all, it's great to feel the re-newed spirit of success here on the boards. I am down .8 today and am happy for that. I decided that it's time to put a graph of my weigh-ins on the refrigerator. I will track the ups and downs and will use that as motivation. I'm feeling positive and motivated. I even brought up my exercise ball to the living room and am using it while I watch t.v. Congratulations everyone on your successes. HIHO Katie

I've been a little off-track this week; I finally caught the awful cold that all my students seem to have. Therefore, I have not been getting up to exercise, and although I have been eating Core breakfasts and lunches, I have nibbled at some non-Core snacks, and just gone downright overboard in the late afternoon/dinner time several times this week.
Imagine my surprise, then, when I stepped on the scale and was down several pounds. I guess I really haven't been eating as much as I sometimes do, just because of being so busy and tired all the time. We'll see if it sticks when I actually go to an official WW weigh-in next week. It sure would be nice to be free again (that is, back to within 2 pounds of goal), so that's my motivation for this week!

Hi, all!
I too had been fighting some "under the weather" feelings last week, upped my vitamin C and felt better. But got some very dizzy feelings last week, every time I turn to the left in bed, lol. Thought it was an ear infection but the dr. said it's just the leftovers from the almost-cold...so took a decongestant today on her recommendation. I feel OK. So anyway...I did not stop exercising because of this, I did not stop preparing Core foods to freeze... I had my usual pretty non-Core weekend and I did a lot of housework, walking around but not my usual exercise. Still trying to get back into some routine. If I can't eat total Core then I eat less. And I try to get some movement in if it's not my "normal" exericse. It's all I can do right now ...

Way to go on that huge loss Jane!
Cathy & Coco - hope you are feeling better soon.
It is 91 degrees here - I'm tired of this weather! I bought a great new sweater today in protest but it's way too hot to think about wearing.
I'm having a good week so far and tracking everything. I went spinning yesterday and today, tomorrow and Wednesday will probably be the elliptical machine. I just came back from buying some nice produce - peppers, tomatoes, strawberries. One good thing about this hot weather is that it usually curbs my appetite and forces me to drink more water when I'm out and about.

Me too Jane - I'm having a decent week so far also but I'm feeling a bit munchy today (TOM). I did work out this afternoon though and it is gorgeous today - about 66 degrees and sunny.
Did you see the recipe on today's WW home page for spaghetti pizza? Can be made Core - I bought the ingredients to try it out tomorrow so I'll let you know!
Have a great day!!

Hi all, Still cruising along..... Yesterday I raked the back yard, not because I have to, but because I like to do it. About 15 minutes after I finished, a thunderstorm came and filled my yard with new leaves!! Oh well, more activity points for me next week when I do it all over again... Have a great weekend and HIHO!! jane

Hi all-
I was up .4 at WI today - a little disappointing but I'll blame it on TOM. I need to have a good WI next week because it's my only one for the month of October most likely! That's probably not true, I just won't be able to go on my regular Friday I'll probably go on Thursdays. I can't stay away that long!
Hope everyone has a great weekend. The beautiful fall weather is finally here!!

Hello from Ireland!!
I'm having a wonderful time here, our show was very well received and based on the food we've been eating, it's an amazing testament to portion control that these lovely people aren't the size of houses. I on the other had will be doing serious penance when i return to the states.
Take good care and look for me to be (not so Little) Miss Faithful when I return!!

I think I've done a good job this week with my eating and activity. We'll see if it shows when I get on the scales tomorrow morning at my meeting! Even if I don't lose, I'll know I tried, and I'll keep trying..
Have a great Sunday...and HIHO!!
