Down another .3 this week, for a total of 37.4.
My husband and I joined a gym this weekend. Since my local city swimming pool will be closed for the months of November and December, we joined a gym with a pool where I can continue my water aerobics. I've been to two classes at the new place so far, and hope to continue taking 6 per week while I still have both places available. I'm planning to start some weight training in the near future.
Mini-goal for the week: get my 40-pound star!

Due to severe transportation issues, I was unable to get to a weigh-in (or to water aerobics classes) last week. But I stayed on program in the meantime, and got right back to the pool as soon as I had a working car again.
At weigh-in this evening, I lost 2.1 for the two weeks, bringing my total loss to 39.5 pounds.
This evening my wonderful husband hit the 20-pound mark, and has now passed the halfway mark on the total he wants to lose.
I'm now just .5 away from losing 40. And that also means that I am just .5 away from having only 100 more pounds to lose to reach what I *think* is my personal goal!
Mini-goal for this week: lose at least .5!

Ouch! Up 1.5 this week. Only the second time I've had a gain. Actually, I knew this was coming, since I'd been retaining water madly all week in advance of my period. And wouldn't you know, the dam broke yesterday -- and this morning the scale at home shows an instant 2-pound loss. Gotta love Murphy and his law! Oh well, at least I'm still under 240 -- and I can anticipate an extra nice loss next weigh-in. Mini-goal: get my 40-pound star, darn it!

Hooray! Down 3.3 tonight! I lost what I gained last week, and then some.
I have lost a total of 41.3 pounds, and weigh less than 235 for the first time in at least 15 years.
I've also hit another milestone: I now have less than 100 pounds left to lose before reaching the personal goal I've set for myself.
Mini-goal for this week: hit the 45-pound mark.

I was exactly the same this week as last week. I had no problems at all with staying on program, so it was one of those random weird weeks, I guess. Hopefully, that means I'm due a for nice big loss at next week's weigh-in. At the meeting last night, we got some sad news... due to a death in her family, my leader has had to move away from town. I feel so bad for her, and will miss her a lot. The lady that substituted last night was great -- very Core-positive. This week, we did that group exercise of calculating the points in the chicken pot pie recipe. As written, I think it came out to 7 or 8 points per serving on Flex. The group decided that was too many, so there was discussion of how to knock the points value down. Then the leader asked me (the only Core person in the room) to show how to convert the recipe to Core! It was an eye-opener for some in the group... there may be one or two people thinking about converting. Mini-goal for this week: get my 45-pound star. (Hmmm, 3.7 pounds is a bit of a stretch....) More-attainable-mini-goal for the week: lose 1.8 pounds.

On April 19, I started WW, weighing in at 275.9 pounds.
On January 17, almost exactly 9 months later, my weight was 225.8.
That's 50 pounds so far, and I've done it all with Core.
Have I mentioned how much I love this program?
