I ate op today and did great at wi. I lost 1.8 pounds, so I am at a total of 2.4 pounds for the challenge. I am at a total loss of 34 pounds and can't be happier. I should hit my 35 pound mark next week if I stay op.
xoxo, thanks for making me feel better about my eating last night. Baked beans may not be core but they are good for you. I didn't realize cotton candy was so low in points. That also made me happy. I did count 5 points for the beans and 7 for the two tacos(hope I'm not low balling it but that's what my book says) and 1 for the cotton candy, plus I got 4 activity points in yesterday as I did laps, and also all kinds of exercise in the pool last night. So really it was only 9 points for my eating.
Cathy, good luck on your wi. Hope you do well!

Tracie: Nice job with the loss this week. I added it to your total above. 35lbs! WOW! That will deserve some really good images...I will start looking for some celebration pictures.
I didn't stay completely core but did manage to stay within the points. The time with my mom was fine. We ate in and walked a bit. Never made it to Kayaking, because we were all just tired. It was kind of an arts and crafts day. Keep on going everyone. -Cynthia

Cathy, I'll let you know when I get my mom's recipe for the tequila sauce, but I think it was just tequila and lime juice! Try it . . .
I have had a difficult day; I had so many random adults in my classroom and the students were wild. I felt incredibly stressed, and after class when a friend said something nice to me I nearly started to cry. I am sad about one thing that happened today, but the truth is that I have been sad about something at home for a while now (I wrote about it in my journal). After the kids went home, my friend the behaviorist said, "Do you go home and have a glass of wine every night? You MUST!!!!" Call it the power of suggestion, but tonight I do feel like I deserve wine, and that is what I am having. Other than that, though, a totally Core day.
Oh, and Cynthia, I was down to 151 this morning -- 3 pounds total. All bloat -- but it shows the power of Core! Six to go for this challenge . . .

Dear Cathy,
Ok, breathe. You only have a 1.1 gain over the last two weeks. Geez, I can gain and lose that much with out even thinking based on water weight, time of the month, salt intake and last time I ate. It will pass. Just stay focused and don't waste a lot of time beating yourself up. You rock and you know it.

Cathy, don't be upset. How much sodium is in what you ate. It could be just water weight, and since you aren't feeling it in your clothes, it probably is. It sucks that it happened on wi day, but I'll bet it's just water. Don't be discouraged!! You are doing great and numbers aren't the only important thing on this journey. You are feeling good and getting that lean tummy. Sometimes, numbers lie, it just depends on a lot of other factors as to what those numbers are telling you.

I was wondering if that was new. It is a nice photo of you Cathy. Today was good. Core. Exercise. Started my period and didn't completely binge on sugar. Did eat two skinny cow sandwiches but took points for them. I feel like I am eating a lot and should probably watch having seconds even when it is core. A calorie is still a calorie even if it is a core calorie.

Hi friends,
This morning I am below 150! Yeah! 149.75. I love the first week of Core . . .
Cathy, I agree with everyone else. The scale does not tell the whole story. Your clothes are fitting better, you have been doing your ab work, you are doing great. It will show up on the scale. I'd rather have my clothes fit better! (They aren't, not yet, despite the loss).
Keep going everyone. We are all doing great.

Hi - good morning everyone! Thanks - yes it's a "new" picture - actually one from last June taken at a wedding and I am wearing the same dress to another wedding tomorrow LOL. I haven't tried it on yet, I assume it fits. I was on my way to gaining when the pic was taken but I didn't weigh as much as I do now. I figure why post a heavier avatar, I will put up a motivating pic of what I want to look like again.
Xena - I do the same thing with Core foods, have seconds without seeing if I am satisfied yet, cuz I figure it's all Core... well no more. DBF always takes seconds but he has the metabolism of a bird so he can. I have to stop doing that.
Coco - Great job! I want to be below 150 (again)! Sigh... I will be.
Tracie - Beth - Everyone - have a great day and weekend!

Okay - I'm having a little pity party too just like Cathy! I was bummed to have lost just .2 today, after a great week of doing boot camp 3 mornings and tracking and weighing and measuring everything. I know, the scale isn't the only indicator, blah, blah, blah but I really expected a more substantial loss. At least it was in the right direction though.
So I'll keep on keepin on! Luckily we don't have too much going on this weekend, the weekends usually kill me.
Hope you all have a good weekend!
-Beth
