Hi all-
Cynthia - hang in there! What a lot you've had to deal with in the last few weeks! Please keep us posted on your partner, I hope all is fine and it was found early. And best of luck on your test.
Tracie, Cathy & Coco - you guys are doing awesome!
Last week I was up .8 and this week I was down 1.4, so I guess that's a .6 loss total. I switched to Core last week, after doing Flex for about the last 18 months. I had switched to Flex back then and was able to lose my last 10. I decided that it was time to switch things up once again since the scale wasn't moving. It was really interesting! Except for a big fancy party last Saturday night I was completely Core all week. And a 1.4 loss is the biggest loss I've had in several months. So, I'm going to stick with Core for awhile. Last night I definitely used points on wine, amazing/evil pesto pasta salad and a little dessert but I don't anticipate needing to dip into those points again for the rest of the week so I'm okay.
That being said, I will not make my Labor Day goal of losing 5 lbs, but I weighed in at 130.0 yesterday so if I can get in a WI next week under 130 I'll be psyched because I haven't been in the 120s probably since March or April. Of course we are going away to Boston Labor Day weekend and then to New Orleans the following weekend so all bets are off!
My DH is gone for 2 full weeks - I am sad! One more week to go. And my "baby" starts first grade next week. Where has the time gone??

Beth, 130? You are doing awesome, girl! What an inspiration.
Cynthia, I am praying for your partner. Catching it early is a good thing. You are strong, smart, and determined, and I bet you will rock that test today! Let us know . . . I will keep on praying for all kinds of positive things to come out of this day for you and your family.
As for myself, I am feeling big and blobby, all self-inflicted. I need to commit. I think starting school next week will help; and then grad school as well the week after. I will have to kick my daily routine into overdrive just to survive and I know I can do it -- there will just be no room in my life for unhealthy choices.
Weigh in -- up another pound.

Thank you all for your good thought and prayers. They must have worked.
Initial indications on the lump were that it wasn't cancer! Yeah! We will get final lab results probably this Wednesday and know for sure.
I finished my test and am pretty sure that I did well. Thank goodness that is over. I have been studying since January for these tests.
So onto happy things. I am wearing my wedding dress when my partner and I legally get married next Saturday, so this is a good week to be very core and focused on exercise.
Thanks for you patience with my crazy life. I really appreciate it. - Cynthia

Coco - keep in mind that I am only 4'11! The top of my WW weight range is 124, which is what my goal is/was. So I've still got a few pounds to go to get back to that. Good luck with back-to-school stress! Hang in there.
Cynthia - so glad to hear the news! Hope to see some beautiful photos too.

Coco - I know the feeling. You have so much going on in your life too, one day at a time...wow grad school, good luck. I'm not going to make my Labor Day goal of 5 lbs. either but as usual the experience of the challenge was good for me. I expect to do better for the Thanksgiving Challenge - we're having one, right?!! Everyone have a great day!

I am in for the Thanksgiving Challenge! I didn't make my goal but I definitely succeeded. I lost half of my goal and that is huge considering that I haven't moved my weight downwards in two years. I have no deadline for this loss. Just slow and stead, knowing I will get there in time.

Sorry I've been MIA. Cynthia, I am so happy that the initial tests on your partner's lump came out good. The doctors can usually tell. I went through the same thing, and it was not cancer, but it's so scarey going through. To top it all off, I was going through my divorce at the time and was a mess already. The power of prayer is miraculous!
I won't be weighing in this week. We are leaving for camping first thing in the morning, and I've been so busy packing that I couldn't make tonights meeting. I will be riding my bike a lot these next 5 days, so hopefully my eating won't bring my weight up. I think I'm already up anyway as last weekend we were at the cottage and I drank a lot, ate ice cream, and chips and really didn't get any exercise in. Oh well, life goes on.
Cathy, I'm in for a Thanksgiving challenge as well. I need to get back on track. I will be gone camping for 5 days, come back and work for 2 days and then going back camping for 4 more days. We are leaving our motor home and boat at the camp ground for the two days we won't be there because it's cheaper to pay for the camp site for 2 days than it would be to pay for gas back and forth with the motor home and our explorer hauling the boat. So all this will probably not be good for my waistline, but if I can get in a lot of bike riding, maybe it won't be so bad.
Beth, you are still doing great. I can't wait until I see the 130's! But I will get there, but it might be a slow process.
xoxo, grad school will be a challenge. Good luck with that. I've been thinking about it, but really can't get myself to do it.
Checking out until at least Monday night. Everyone have a great labor day weekend!

Cynthia, I'm glad that the news looks good for your partner. Also best wishes for your marriage!!!! How was the wedding?
My official last weigh in for this challenge . . . I have no idea whether I've gained or lost this week; somehow I lost track. I think I have been staying more or less the same. My starting weight was 154; this morning was 149.75. So a total loss of 4.25; less than half of what my goal was! Oh, well, it is a loss. Onward.
