Count me in. I would like to have my GOAL be to make GOAL. I have 4.5 pounds. In order to get there I will:
1) concentrate on the 8 HG's 2) exercise 3-4 times per week 3) get outside to vary my exercise and cooking (fire up the grill!)
My reward/incentive will hopefully be to work for WW. I have to make goal in order to do this. I need to stay FOCUSED! And honest.
Wildflower - thanks for getting us started!

I'm in. I've only got one goal: make Lifetime!
But to do that, I'll:
Limit portions and watch my comfort zone, keep my F/V intake high, eat balanced meals, and make good choices with my WPA.

Me too: make Lifetime! And: get to my personal goal and maintain it. And: GHGs, no sugar, excercise 4-5x/week.

Okay...I am in. Not being as close to goal as all of you are...my goal will be: 1. Make healthy CORE choices whenever possible (need to reread the 8HGH) 2. Exercise more (3 days a week on the machine and 2 days weights 3. Limit my alcohol to 2 or less glasses of wine per day 4. be under 170 and closer to 160 than 170 by the end of the challenge My reward will be weighing less so that I can enjoy the summer more, I will be closer to goal and I will be happier in my skin when my family arrives June 9. Cathy in Fih, Lebanon PS - How do I get a ticker, put it here and update it? Will go see if I can find this information somewhere and return

Well I am a newbie to the Core Plan but I would love to join this challenge. 1. Cut back on alcohol intake. -- This will be hard but I know I must! 2. Don't snack late at night. 3. START EXERCISE! 4. Stay closer to the 8 guidelines. I think these challenges are great. Good luck to everyone! ;D

Wow, what a great way to end the April fool's challenge and start the Spring fling. Congratulations to everyone that made a committment and made it through the challenge. I've been absent a few days, busy-ness and computer challenges..., but I'm here for the Spring fling. My goal is very simple... limit portion sizes. So easy to say, so difficult to do. So that's what I'll concentrate on. and anything else that happens is a bonus. Thanks Sandy for heading up this new challenge and as always for doing such a wonderful job of motivating all of us Have a great day Katie

hi flingers,
I really am joining because it's so nice to be in your supportive company but in the last few challenges I've made no progress whatsoever... I am not at all focused on weight loss, I am sorry to say, and I keep thinking that I will change my patterns and i haven't.
So in the spirit of so many of you I am again saying that I will lose weight....
There will be challenges like moving across town to a new apartment next week and then moving back across the country at the beginning of May for the summer. and then back with 'my people' and lots of socializing, and then the vacation to Europe in Mid-late may.
But just this week with the concert being done, the scale is moving in the right direction because I eating three meals and have seen neither hide nor hair of a mini egg!
My goal is to lose something... I'll say 5 and even make a ticker this time.
Thanks, stalwart challengers! You are little superstars!
sul
ps I decided to take credit for the 4 little pounds i have lost this year on my ticker... even tho' we are starting a new challenge. Gotta see some progress!

And credit you deserve, Sulee! Goodbye, however belatedly, to those 4 lbs. I am adding a new item to my challenge goals: get through my plateau without getting discouraged. I was up 2.2 today, but that's okay. Two more weeks to lifetime!
