What a quiet weekend this was here at Kippy's! Hope that means everyone was out having fun. I need to get back on track tomorrow! My eating over the weekend could have been worse but it definitely could have been better also. We walked a lot and drank a lot of water so that should help. And back to the gym Tuesday and Wednesday.
My NSV for the weekend was buying SIZE 4 PANTS! I don't think I've ever bought that size, even when I was like 11 years old. I think this brand (Dockers) runs big generally but I was pretty excited and bought them in 3 colors.
Hope everyone is continuing to hang in there. Are we doing a summer challenge?

Wow Beth a 4. Congratulations. Are you going to leave the tags hanging on so everyone can see the size? I might be tempted lol My wi on Saturday, I'm up .6 which is what I was down last week. I wasn't surprised, infact relieved that it wasn't more. We got the papering done and my parent's home and it looks wonderful. IT was a big long day. My oldest sis, who doesn't care for home improvement stuff, made lunch for us. She is also working at getting healthy, so it was a really good mostly Core meal. I earned at least a gazillion aps climbing up and down the ladder lol I worked yesterday and we were quite busy. I mixed lots of paint for people. I think the felt like it was a free day. Not many people have family celebrations so there was alot of work being done. Back to normal schedule today. Have a fantastic day Katie

WOHO! Beth way to go with size 4!!
I had WI and I am up .3 Not so bad considering it was a holiday weekend with many BBQs. I will be working hard this week to get back on the band wagon and back to a core lifestyle.
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I'll try to check in later and catch up on all the posts.
Have a great day! Pam

Hi, everyone! I'm back from my painting vacation! I sure missed you all. I hope everyone is doing well. My paint project came out great. Beth - WOW size 4!!! I may have been a size 4 when I was 11 or so...LOL -- great job! Best of all, I guess I got a lot of APs, because I lost 4.2 lbs. last week! ;DI weighed in on Thursday as usual and I was extremely happy. That is the most I have lost ever in 1 week. So I guess the moral is, don't eat before WI if you never do (I had done that the week before), and eat right and exercise! I didn't do my regular exercise last week but I did paint for 4 days straight, must have burned some calories. Needless to say, I am crazy at work with e-mails and oh yeah work, so I'm just stopping by for now.....to say Hi, I will read all the posts and catch up later.

hi gals...
feeling so pleased with my activity and cutting back on alcohol, plus towing a pretty good line, core-wise, I had hoped for one of those dramatic, wowee-zowee losses.
But I'll take the 1 pound!
I would like to be down 5 pounds by the next meeting... that's 1.4 to lose... and I'll strive for that but know that based on my history that I might not get quite there.
How's everyone doin???

Good morning ladies! Welcome to the end of our spring challenge! How did everyone do? These were my goals:
1) concentrate on the 8 HG's 2) exercise 3-4 times per week 3) get outside to vary my exercise and cooking (fire up the grill!) 4) MAKE GOAL!
My reward/incentive will hopefully be to work for WW. I have to make goal in order to do this. I need to stay FOCUSED! And honest.
Well, I'm happy to report I did meet my challenge goals this time around! And I have an interview with WW this morning after my meeting so think positive thoughts for me!
Thanks, as always, to everyone for being here and checking in. Are we doing a summer challenge?
-Beth

I did well for most of the challenge, but fizzled a bit with changes in my routine due to ankle sprain, holidays and a trip the last three weeks. Ankle is better, though not 100% back to normal. Never got it looked at, and now am wondering if maybe I should. I am finally going to go back to Yoga today, and may do some time on the bike, treadmill (walking) or elliptical. Don't want to overdue, but merely to test the waters and see if I'm on the mend or need to think about having the ankle looked at my a professional of some sort (orthopedist, podiatrist, physical medicine and rehab doctor, physical therapist, or rheumatologist-- so many choices).
Is there another challenge starting up for the summer? Even though I'm not hugely successful at meeting even my own self-defined goals, I find the support and commeraderie invaluable, and these challenges seem to be the main source of activity at Kippys these days.

Hi everyone and welcome to the weekend! Felt like a 5 day workweek to me... My goals for this spring challenge were: 1) Get back/stay to within 2 lbs. of my personal weight goal. 2) Keep cooking Core foods each week 3) Watch satisfaction level and I did it! #1 was most important to me, I did #2 (haha doesn't sound too good) most weeks and #3 I'm still working on but obviously I got a handle on it. Those continue to be my goals from now unto beyond and I hope we have a summer challenge!!!THANKS to Beth and Wildflower for organizing this one, please please do another! I love the camaraderie and support too. Have a great weekend.
