I've been reading a lot of these on-line journals and it seems like they might be pretty therapeutic so I decided to start one too!
Today I was disappointed that my workout did not have any cardio since I got very little cardio in this week. Will do an hour of cardio tomorrow morning though.
Today I had:
7:30- coffee w/ skim milk
8:30- Post shredded wheat & bran w/ blueberries
11:30- Met friend for lunch and had salad w/ chicken, avacado, egg, corn and tomatoes and some balsamic vinegrette on the side.
HIGH NOTE: My friend is using a surrogate to have a baby and she told me today that they are pregnant and due in March. Very good and exciting news.
3:00- Smoothie w/ FF plain yogurt, frozen mango, pineapple and vanilla extract. Did not like it.
6:30- 6 oz. filet of beef, baked potato, steamed brocolli and carrots, small salad with balsamic vinegrette on the side.
9:00- SF/FF lemon yogurt (also do not like) w/blueberries.
Tomorrow will be HARD CORE!
Until then...

Hey Katie! Thanks for checking in here. I don't know what things are like in Iowa, but here outside of Chicago it has been storming all night long and it looks like it's going to be a dark and stormy day.
I have a hectic day today! I'm going to do a class from 9:30-10:30 after I drop my 4-year-old off at camp. Then at 11:00 I'm going to see a camp production - our best friend runs a "Summerstock" camp here for 4th-8th graders so today is the show. Then at 12:30 today my son Spencer has his "musical" at camp that the parents and grandparents are invited to. Then tonight is T-ball at 5:30 although not if this weather continues. Then we have family friends in from Baltimore that are coming to the T-ball game and we're going out to dinner with them afterwards. Spencer is sleeping at his grandparents tonight and spending the day with them tomorrow so I'll have the day to go to WI, workout and try and get my house back in some sense of order before going to my in-laws for dinner. WHEW!
Right now - 7:45 - on my second cup of coffee and sweating! Have to have it though.
Will report in later after I've actually eaten somethng.

Your smoothie sounded good.........I wonder if it was the vanilla that made you not like it?

YAY for you for starting a journal!!!! I'm looking forward to popping in and reading your entries...and asking you questions like "what the heck is t-ball?" *grin*
I love storms, but hard when you have to truck around in them. Be safe!

T-ball is basically like a cone that they put the ball on top of and the kids hit it from that instead of being pitched a ball. I think it is for younger kids mostly. Night & MB - thanks for checking in!
I was beaming with pride today at the 4-year-old camp show, it was so adorable. I have just one child so of course all of these things are big deals to me! This is such a cute age.
I had a great 60 minute workout today, unfortunately that was my only cardio this week. Oh well.
I am happy to report that my in-laws joined WW this morning and they are going to try CORE! Now if only my DH would get on the bandwagon...
Breakfast 8:30: plain oatmeal mixed with half cut up pear glass of skim milk
Snack 10:45: other half of pear
Lunch 1:00: baked chicken breast salad greens with AMAZING balsamic vinegar that my aunt just brought back from Italy.
I'm off to take a shower...

We had a night of big storms too, yesterday was pretty humid, but the temp is down quite a bit. Yippee. I'm not a big lover of hot summers. Wow, what a schedule for the weekend. Enjoy every bit of it. Take care Katie

My son slept out last night so I actually had a great night sleep without hearing "Mommy, I need you." Getting ready to take a shower and go to WI. Was really hoping to hit the 25 lb. mark today, I guess you never know. Will report in later...

Just got back from WI and I stayed the same, I can't complain! There's not too much going on this week so my intention is to have a good WI next week and hit the 25 lb. mark.
So far today...
coffee w/ skim milk FF cottage cheese w/pineapple
Looking forward to sushi for lunch w/ DH.
Dinner at the in-laws but they just started WW so it will be Core friendly for sure.
Also looking forward to the weekend and weather here is anticipated to stay in the 70's!

I had a pretty good CORE weekend and I have 12 points going into this week which is awesome! This morning I'm going walking with a cousin and then lunch with a group of cousins - we have a very large and close knit family out here which is why we relocated from Boston a few years ago.
7:00 - 2 cups of coffee w/ skim milk & Equal
8:15 - oatmeal w/ half a pear, skim milk
My intentions:
10:30 - other half of pear
11:45 - salad of some kind with chicken
snack - TBD
dinner - steamed shrimp & brocolli, possibly brown rice. Maybe I'll make my own "fried" rice to have with it.

Yay for your core-steady self!
I giggled at this line for some reason.
12 points left? Fabulous! Keep it up, Beth; you're inspiring us.

11:30 - salad w/leftover beef tenderloin and FF feta
