So delicious, those frozen mangos. I like using frozen fruit instead of ice because it makes the smoothie really thick and creamy. I just bought frozen peaches too but haven't tried them yet. Maybe this afternoon.
So I had 5 AP's yesterday and I decided to use them on baked doritos and WW ice cream and I am feeling horribly guilty about it and I don't know why. Even if I didn't have that many AP's yesterday I had the actual points for it. I still have 15 points left for the next two days. I have to stop with associating certain foods like chips as "bad" but I guess I feel like sitting down on the couch with a bag of chips is not a good habit even if the whole bag is only 3 points. My issue I guess.
Anyway, last night for dinner I had a baked chicken thigh, some WW pasta w/ olive muffaletta (can become addictive).
I have some things to take care of this morning while DS is in camp and then I'm meeting a cousin w/ her 6 week old for lunch so I won't be working out today. I'm a little sore from kickboxing so I'll do some stretching.
So far this morning I've just had coffee!!

Hey Pam & Marcia - thanks for checking in here! I was excited with my .8 loss and finally hitting that 25 lb. mark.
Pam - I had never been to The Noodle (we went to the one in Glenview) and I thought it was extremely good. I had salmon and grilled vegetables.
Tonight went to some friends for dinner and they made meatballs, spaghetti and garlic bread - AHHHHH!!! It was tough but it was extremely good. I had about a cup of pasta and 3 meatballs and no garlic bread and a glass of wine. I estimated about 25 points for dinner because I know none of it was light or Core. My success for the evening was passing up the garlic bread and the carrot cake for dessert. Oh, well - I've just got to move on from it.
This evening my husband and I are going downtown to see a show and we are eating at a seafood restaurant so that should be pretty easy to stay on track.
Well, it's 4:30 a.m and I'm going to try and go back to sleep!

Congratulations on the 25# mark, and for showing your inlaws a healthier way yo live and eat. I am sure your wonderful example is what helped them to get motivated to try core.

Morning...
Definitely having trouble sleeping past 4:00 a.m these days, does anyone have any suggestions?
Looking forward to a hard core week this week, I am definitely at or over my WPA's for the week from that damn dinner on Friday! Oh well.
Today is my son's last week of camp and we are heading out of town at the end of the week so my plan for today is to workout at home and get ahead on laundry, etc.

Another very hot and humid day here in Chicago. Good thing is I'm not that hungry and I'm drinking a lot of water. Last night we had sushi which was so yummy. I think sushi is my favorite food on the planet. Well maybe it's tied with lobster.
Breakfast: 2 cups coffee w/ skim milk, FF cottage cheese & canteloupe
Mid morning: shredded wheat n bran w/ blueberries and skim milk
I may take myself out for lunch and read a magazine or something decadent like that. Tomorrow is the last day of camp so it is my last day of solitude until preschool starts September 11!

How funny that reading a magazine is a decadent behavior. I am the same way. lol I always looked forward to school starting. Just being in a routine was a good thing. Katie

Sadly enough I did not read my magazine! I actually have been trying to get through Fitness Magazine for the last 3 nights and I've fallen asleep. It must be the heat. Last night and all night long it has been raining and it has brought the temperature down to 70 degrees. After 5 or 6 days in the high 90s and sometimes over 100 this is a welcome relief.
Feeling kind of yucky today with the weather and my TOM but I'm going to do my tough class this morning and get through it as best I can. Getting a manibure after that. We are heading out of town this weekend for a wedding (more about that later).
Plan today is to stay hard core and perhaps eek out a small loss at WI tomorrow. I don't feel like I've had a terrific week so I wouldn't be surprised if I gained, especially with TOM and all of this heat I feel BLAH!
Hope everyone has a good one...

Thanks for stopping by my journal.
Yes that dip is wonderful, I need to get busy trying some new recipes I sometimes get stuck in a rut. I will need to go grocery shopping this weekend and plan some fun meals.
