Hellooo..... I work for a pretty large company, about 100,000 employees worldwide. Yeah it's great to hear about layoffs. I think my dept. will be done with theirs this month but it could be ongoing throughout the year...and no dept. is safe. Our company is setting up to sell we think. Who knows...can't worry about it too much, nothing I can do.
How are you doing? You haven't written in a while, I know you've been super busy!

Okay, maintenance is HARD. Have I mentioned this before? I know this is no great revelation, everyone here on this board knows that.
Good news - I have reintroduced myself to my treadmill. I was not getting to the gym nearly as often as I intended so I know I need to start doing something that doesn't take too much effort. Since it's right in the basement, and my son can play while I'm down there, I don't have much of an excuse. And when the weather is bad I certainly can't get to the gym.
We are getting hit hard with snow this winter. Another 10-14 inches today, and we got 10 inches last Friday. No school this afternoon for my kindergartener.
I have a chicken bubbling away in the slow cooker, I knew the weather today would be bad so I went to the grocery store yesterday.
I hope to weigh in on Friday morning, I think my early Thursday morning meeting will not be in the cards because of the snow.

Maintenance is HARD, oh yeah thanks for telling me! ;D Don't I know it. But I really want to learn how to do it, considering this is for my life. Thanks for the advice but I am so not good with counting, adding, math, points.... I should do that for just one week to actually see how far over my 35 I am going because 1 Saturday night of wine and they are gone! So exercise does help, and I have gotten back into that big time. IF it were cold here in NJ we would be under 4-5 feet of snow already! But thank goodness we have been having warmer temps for a winter. It ws 62 yesterday! Gray, rainy, dreary and raw, but 62. It really cools down this weekend, but as long as there's no precipitation I don't care.

Hi - how are you? It was about 70 degrees yesterday here in NJ and today it is 30! And it's going down more tomorrow...maybe snow on Friday... I hate winter. Anyone who doesn't believe in global warming must be nuts! It really messes up the weather in all ways.
Anyway...I love the Firm! Which step package did you buy? I don't know of one that comes with a step and hand weights w/DVD. Did you get the big TransFIRMer step or the regular sized "fanny lifter"? I will have to check out the Kohl's site ... nope, I can't find anything on there. Give me the names of the workouts. But you will love it, once you learn it. I did notice a difference in 10 workouts, just like they said. I have about 10 different Firm workouts that I do, on tape and DVD.
As for APs, we just had a meeting on that last week. I find it so hard to calculate APs. I just looked at my points booster again and decided I get maybe 4 APs for the harder Firm workouts.

Ah - the joy of motherhood! My little man had a cold for the last week and guess who got it yesterday - Mommy of course. So I took some Dayquill this morning and will survive.
I feel like I'm back on track again. I'm up about 5 lbs (again) - gosh that sneaks on so quickly! I've been feeling really negative about exercising these last few months, maybe it's the weather. I really need to strive to get it in 3 times a week at least. We went away this past weekend and I did workout one morning, which was great! And I did the elliptical yesterday. Maybe I'll be able to get to the gym this afternoon also but my afternoon is pretty tight. Tomorrow afternoon for sure though.
It is a balmy 4 degrees here today! I feel like we will never get out of this.
Making salmon cakes for dinner tonight, we found a great recipe.
Did I mention lately how proud I am of DH? He has been doing South Beach and is down over 90 pounds. Looks awesome and is off all of his meds.

Hi, Beth, hope you're feeling better. Take care of yourself. You can get back into the exercise when you feel up to it. Hope your little guy feels better too. Congrats to DH wow!!
Let me know when you try the Firm.
Hey - when are we starting the April Fool's challenge? It is so quiet on Kippy's nowadays, I hope some people are lurking without posting. Anyway I'm up for another challenge.

I am down 1 pound this morning on my scale since I went on Tuesday morning. I'll take that! Onward and downward. Hopefully by the time I go in for my official March WI I'll be down a little bit more.

Heyyyy...how are you...? Mother's Day sure was hard this year as it was DBF's first without his mom ... I have a lot of "death dates" in May -- my father, another friend, now a new friend ... anyway...such is life and all we can do is hang in! How is WW treating you - did it ever work out that you did receptionist/leader training? I should read past posts to remember what happened... Are you doing your Firm DVD? It's quiet around here all right. Have a good day!

I'm so glad you're a leader and that you enjoy it! Good for you.
It has been so quiet here lately and the WW Core board just doesn't do it for me... I lurk but don't post much.

Hey - how are you? You said it - this board has been so quiet - it makes me sad because there are a lot of nice people and I felt like we were all cyber-friends.... Kinda weird conversing with people via forums like this but I like the camaraderie and this board was always very helpful with kind people. Try Dotti's if you want a more active board - very nice people there too. I used to be part of a Yahoo WW challenge group I found on the WW site but that too has gone by the wayside as people get busy or go off WW. Definitely keeping in touch via "regular" e-mail sounds great! ;D I am elprup64@yahoo.com.
