Hi Jenny, I make my sweet potato chips by peeling and thinly slicing the sweet potato. Then lightly spray with evoo and sprinkle with salt. I cook them on parchment paper in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes. The timing is never exact, though. The thickness of the chips may change the time. You just have to watch them really closely. When they start to brown around the edges, take them out. Sometimes, not all are ready at the same time either. I let them cool on a rack and munch away!
Enjoy! Debbie

I was SOOO excited to get into the 30's! I even told my teenage daughters and my mom (I've been telling them how much I lost, but not where my weight actually was!), they were all excited for me. My mom actually said she was proud of me. Funny to be 46 yo and still love to hear that from Mom!
Have a great day! And thanks for your notes in my journal. It's always nice to see! Debbie

mwi 181.0 why cant I just freaking get in the 170s?? Come on you freaking scale...ok, maybe its me!? lol No breakfast. Got up early and went to my CTMH gathering. DId awesome! Even got 3 bookings and 3 girls signed up and actually paid for a workshop I'm doing! go me go me! When I was there I had some SF crystal light and some fruit salad...Sure the mandarian oranges in it were not core but it was the best choice there and it was 1:00 and I was getting really hungry. Lunch came home and had a quick chicken salad thing in a 1pt tortilla, skim milk and some bbq pringles...those are not core thats for sure...so I had like 15 of them...then I went back for 5 more and then 5 more after that...then I hid them in the pantry and went outside to distract myself. Fast forward to about 6pm...Dh wants to go to lowes to get some flowers...The flower boxes he built me in the front yard are almost done...well the left side of the house is done. So, I'm like do you realize its 6pm?? We leave and thoughts of ice cream danced in my head...then smokey boness.. ahhhh So, we skipped teh ice cream and thought we would go to dinner...smokey bones was too busy so we went to logans...half an hour wait there too...so we get our little light up thingy and go to target so I can get some gradual sunless tanner (which is actually looking quite awesome) and some other stuff...while I was in the cosmetic aisle I saw this purse lieing on the floor...Thought someone just was going to buy it and changed their mind. Kevin looked at it and realized it belonged to someone...He goes to take it up to customer service...the lady is up there and is sooo happy he found it. She tried to give him $$ as a reward but he wouldnt take it...She made him write down his name and address though..he did...LOL then we went to logans and who ends up right next to us?? the lady who lost her purse. LOL We had the suckiest service ever. We sat there like 10 minutes before the waiter even asked us what we wanted to drink....He took our drink and food order and came back 10 minutes later and spilled my pop on the table a little. No rolls (not that I need them) the peanut bucket is almost empty...not that I needed them either. lol I got a house salad, steak and sweet potato. So, 20 mintues later we have our drink..no salad...no rolls, my drink is soon gone..no freakin waiter. others in the section are getting annoyed and my DH goes to find the manager.. All of a sudden we have great service from the manager...our drinks are refilled...we have rolls, fresh peanuts...ah.... I get really cranky when I'm hungry...just ask kevin well, these other people talk to the manager..all they have is their drinks. they got there right after us and they walk out...they were pissed. The manager chewed out the waiter i'm sure...we got our food for free! dont you just love free food? thats a problem with me.. anyways the people with the lost/found purse come over and saw they were going to pay for our meal but since we got it free they are going to mail us a gift certificate for logans..that is if we will ever come backto this one after the sucky service! Lol lol just had to share. oh and I had a few strawberries today too...not too healthy of a day but..i'll keep chugging.

Hi Jenny, Sorry it took so long to get back with you on the tilapia....I've been out of town at my brothers wedding since last Thursday.
Tilapia or sometimes spelled Talapia is a very light white fish. I buy it either fresh or frozen and season it with Cajun seasonings, then bake in a foil pouch. Comes out light and flakey everytime. I love it for a fast dinner, since a whole tray (for DH, DS, and myself) of 11 fillets (they're very small and thin) cooks in 30 minutes.
I like to buy a big bag at Sam's and keep in the freezer. They come individually wrapped in clear plastic.
