I had a great workout today with my trainer. Getting stronger every time. Getting ready for vacation on the beach.

Almost halfway to my goal for this month. I had better step up my program. I did the Firm BSS2 again today. Boy do I have weak abs! No wonder kids ask me when my baby is due! I went off plan this weekend. The carb cravings came right back after one piece of cake. Somehow I still managed to lose 5 pounds this week. I will probably pay on next Mondays weigh in!

hi you glorious prechas...
Looks like folks are keeping busy and motivated...BRAVISSIMA!!!!
I have been taking a wee break from regular posting but I've still been on my bronze medal quest. As of 4/15 i had over 5000 pre cha points toward my goal of 10,000 for April. So, like that little engine who could, "I think I can, I think I can...."
keep up the good work everyone!

I'm pretty close to being on track for the month. I missed going to the gym yesterday, but today I did a half hour on the elliptical and 45 minutes of strength training with free weights.
Keep moving, everyone.
Wed. update: Hit the treadmill for an hour, all uphill. Burned about 600 calories. Whew!

Good morning! I'm hoping I can make it to goal. I didn't do so well Easter weekend, now I have to catch up. I'm now aiming for 45 minutes of exercise 5 day a week (up from 30 min.) If I can just get out of bed a bit earlier.....

I think I'm on track for my April goal. Today, my trainer was on vacation and I was on my own. I did 30 minutes fast on the bike, 20 minutes at steep incline on treadmill, then 30 minutes of upper body strength training.
I'm also closing in on my third silver award from the Pres Challenge.
How's everyone else doing?

I go in good cardio workouts yesterday and today. I really like that new treadmill at my gym. It will incline as high as 50%. I get lower body strength training and cardio at the same time.
How's everyone else doing? April is winding down fast.

Plugging away. Goal seems so far away, but I think I can, I think I can. I've been doing the Firm and WATP. I just ordered the Transfirmer set. Their DVDs seem to go so fast, it hardly seems like an hour.
Hope everyone is getting close to goal. You go girls!

Morning!
I updated my ticker to reflect that i'm just over 1000 precha points away from my goal and need just a few more than that to get my first medal. I think it can do it! Now if only my weight loss would reflect this, I'd be rapturous!
Keep up the great work, sister prechaz!

Hi all, just checked out and joined the President's Challenge site--easy to use. In 5 days, I seem to have 2013 points. I'm not sure what this means, if it is good or bad or what. It is all divided between walking, cardio, circuit weight training and stationary bike.

hi there...
so pleased to say that i went over 10,000 today with my new walking and jogging regimen! 68 whole precha points! And there is still enough time to try and make my bronze before May1. Now if only my weight would go down in proportion to my physical exertions....sigh.
Great work all! And welcome to kasha!
PS the ticker doesn't seem to get that I'm 68 OVER not under but... the number is correct, even if the math isn't!

Well, I missed a few days, so I won't hit my April mark, and I'm just shy of my third Silver Award, too. No matter--I'm feeling good about how I'm doing overall, and that's what counts. Monday, I'll see if the scale confirms that...

morning prechaz!
Well yesterday I made the bronze medal mark! i thought it was very funny that the website basically says ok, you did it -- buy a medal if you want, but don't rest on your laurels becauseyou're only 40% of the way to a silver now!
So now I'm out for silver. and after today's walk and yoga i may well hit 12000 points for this month. I may not be losing any weight but i'm sure getting toned!
I plan to track my precha points in may. is anyone else interested?
Keep going everyone one!
Sulee
PS I signed up to walk in a half marathon next sunday...oooooh boy..... I'm only up to 7 miles training but they say if you can do half the distance you can do the "race". I'll just be going at my 14-15 mile pace but am excited about seeing what all the race hubbub is about.
