"It was only 1 binge....only 1 binge...I am done with it, move on!"2/7/07Breakfast: 7 grain hot cereal, 1 fall muffin Lunch: Broccoli/shrimp soup, 1 pear Dinner: I am going to cook tonight and make stuffed peppers and Core sloppy joe's (no rolls) so probably one or the other. Dinner update: I had some Core sloppy joe w/an avocado and ff plain yogurt. It was sooo goooood I know I ate way too much of it. And I had an apple with PB. I was almost, not quite, but almost stuffed. I am still struggling with eating too much Core. Throw in the non-Core stuff and even with APs, the calories will get me. Struggle struggle struggle....I will not stop struggling to combat this.APs: 5 because I am not going to my WW meeting, so I can work out and cook. 8 GHG: Everything today, I hope. I love love love working a meeting using a computer!! Sooo much easier and I still have to think...tee hee... but it's actually fun and I did the tally (money, deposit ticket, etc.) at the end of the meeting and didn't freak because I am so not a math person...the computer makes it so easy...The leader and 2 other receptionists were very nice and I loved the center. Unfortunately due to really frigid weather (I hope this is reason) they only had 40 members so they don't need me next week... but I am going next Tues. after work anyway to train more on the computer. But it was really easy, I picked it up quick and got to work the meeting last night so will be paid. Yay! I hope this meeting attendance picks up again. So that was positive, even though my eating last night wasn't. I think I will be working tomorrow first pm meeting at my center still so that's good. I will WI in then, just to see...

Hey Cathy - Thanks for your kind words and humor as always.
Dumb question about the SCO - do you eat them cold or warm them in the micro the next morning? I think I may buy some PB at Whole Foods today, not something I normally keep in the house. Not because it is a trigger food but because it's never really been anything too exciting for me. However, it may be an easy way to get in some extra protein, eat those AP's and jazz things up and I'll try your SCO recipe and look for it on the recipe board.
My center is one of two in our area that is computerized and I think it is so much easier. I mean c'mon WW, get with the program! Who does things manually anymore? I was actually thinking about going through training to be a receptionist but I still have a few pounds to lose before I could be considered. What was the training like?

Girlfriend, listen to yourself. I dunno about you, but BWW (Before Weight Watchers) I would NOT have stopped at 2 handfuls of chocolate chips (hello, is the bag empty yet?) and I would not EVER have counted chips. Give yourself some credit here and look at what a "binge" means now compared to what it might have meant for you BWW.
And good for you for moving on and not beating yourself up. You now have the added advantage of saying to yourself "what would I tell someone who was coming to a meeting?" Would you tell someone to beat themselves up? ;D
Anyway, I'm so proud of you and I wish you were here being my leader! Have a good rest of your week.

I'm laughing now, really I am.....I decided to type this in a new post rather than update today.... Snack: 2 Starburst candies and a roll of Smarties!!! Is candy Core? LOL ;D Oh man.... I am working out and cooking Core tonight...and hey--here's an excuse - I'm checking the calendar too, who knows TOM may be lurking around the corner again as a reason for my sugar and other cravings! Yeah, that's it!

2/8/07Breakfast: Bowl of shredded wheat w/banana, 3 mini fall muffins Lunch: There's going to be a meeting and we're getting sandwiches from this great catering local place...I will try to limit myself to 1/2 a grilled chicken w/grilled zucchini...and a big big salad. Dinner: Working tonight but only 1 meeting so I can have 1/2 a stuffed pepper I made last night! Update: Did not do this.... worked both meetings last night, got home earlier than usual though 9:15, ate more sandwiches and a fall muffin when I wasn't even really hungry. APs: 2? Already got up at 5:40 to do 2 segments of an ab DVD I have.... Water & 8 GHG: Water yes, all else will try as usual.

You too with TOM? My poor DP can't say boo to me the past few nights without me bursting into tears. Ahh, the joys of womenhood.
Your response to my last journal post was a godsend. Thanks for the wakeup call. Heh. I had a friend who, when I would say something bad about myself, would respond "don't talk about my friend that way!" We are all each other's friends here--so why are we negative about ourselves in ways we would never be towards others? I am putting a stop to it..... (ready?) SO THERE! ;D ;D ;D

Yeah I'm still saying so there because I have had a few days of way too much eating...not every meal, not really really bad empty calorie stuff, just too much food... my whole problem forever. Sigh....I am trudging onward... I checked calendar and I am not TOM until next week, so since I usually have cravings before, this could explain my brain's inability to refuse more food when my body is so clearly satisfied. I didn't even WI last night to find out where I am, because I don't care, and I have to fax in my weight next week, so that's when I'll learn "the number". I'm going to follow my own advice that I so forcefully gave Night and that I tell each member I see that's struggling.... be accountable, don't beat yourself up, stay strong, move on!2/9/07Breakfast: Smoothie Lunch: Core stuffed pepper, 1 pear Dinner: OK. I'm going to a Sensaria spa party at my SIL's and anyone who hasn't been to one should go onto senaria.com and just read about it. Better than any Tupperware, Pampered Chef, jewelry or any other "hen" party you have ever been to. All facial/skin care products, no alcohol...just soothing and great. So anyway...there will be appetizers, maybe veggies, I don't know... but it's going to be my dinner and it probably won't be pretty...again. APs: I am going home early today to get 4 APs before this party! Water and other GHG: YES

Hey...that's great advice!
I have a question about all this weighing and working for WW...do you think it might be having an effect on your eating patterns? All this time you have been making changes for you. Now suddenly you have to meet WW requirements to continue working there...it's like being a flight attendant in the bad old days when they would fire someone for being over a certain weight...
Is that a different kind of stress or emphasis on your weight that might have you freaking out? Do they address that issue at all in trainings?
Anyway I'm right there with you...eating more than I need and being completely mindful when it's too late. I'm taking your advice to heart.

2/12/07Breakfast: Polenta w/2 eggs over easy Lunch: Stuffed pepper with some extra "stuff" , 1 pear Dinner: I will find out later... I had 1/2 leftover chicken sandwich from Sunday, some Fiber One and shredded wheat, and tea. Weird... APs: 5 Water yes, oil yes, dairy yes...Weekend was not a total disaster eating/drinking but...way too much of even the Core foods. I need to WI this Thurs. and I will move on from there. I feel good, clothes fit, etc. etc. but that damn number...I need to know what it is to keep on keepin' on... Thanks everyone for support and advice! ;D Winter may finally hit us hard here in NJ tomorrow night into Wed...I hope only 8 inches of the white stuff, but ya never know, "they" could be wrong. And it's only 1 day worth, look at upper NY state!! So can't complain about this winter so far...we're almost to spring!

2/13/07
Breakfast: Smoothie with fruit, ff plain yogurt, Splenda only, 1 fall muffin Lunch: Core sloppy joe mixed with leftover veggie soup...weird combo but should taste good! Dinner: Again I will figure it out later. Update: Boca burger w/baked sweet potato fries...yummy.
Don't know if I'm training tonight on the WW computer, there is a snowstorm/sleet storm due in the area sometime this afternoon/evening and continuing into tomorrow so I may just want to go home! I don't mind a little snow to drive in but when it's mixed with ice...forget it, I will be taking tomorrow off from work! And getting in APs shoveling!
I didn't train on computer, I went home and got 4 APs.
Stay warm, dry and safe everyone!

2/14/07I did well at home eating and exercising yesterday. Breakfast: Shredded wheat w/banana Lunch: Veggie soup with ww couscous mixed in, 1 pear Dinner: WW spaghetti w/homemade marinara APs: 2 - no shoveling so did an ab/leg tape 8 GHG: - Good for all! 2/15/07Breakfast: Polenta w/2 eggs and soy cheese Lunch: Broccoli/shrimp chowder, not enough left to satisfy me so I must see what I can find in the company cafe... A ww wrap with turkey, lettuce, tomato and mustard....some of DBF's ham sandwich...Dinner: Will be after working 5:45 meeting only so not too late, I'll see. Worked 2 WW meetings last night so I quick made some lean pork loin in the skillet with a spicy rub and soy sauce, and some ww couscous...and then felt like Fiber One so I had it.We didn't get nearly the snow that was predicted!! But I actually wish we had gotten all the snow instead of snow/sleet/ice mixture - yuck! Only about 4 inches of it all but it's solid as a rock and not going anywhere since it's freezing here in NJ and staying that way. Bleah. Just about 1 month until spring and I can't wait! Can't really complain about this winter season ...but I do.
