1/26/07Breakfast: Polenta and 2 eggs Lunch: Broccoli shrimp chowder, pear with PB Dinner: Haven't decided... APs: 5 planned today 8 GHG: Will get in water and as many others as possible! Working last night's 2 meetings was fun but exhausting. I will be working this Sun. too and will only need to work 1 meeting next Thurs. I hope to keep up my good eating habits this weekend. No plans for tonight but tomorrow I am going out to dinner with a friend and her daughter, and Sunday to my mother's in PA for the night, taking Mon. off work. I plan to do some shopping and as my mother is watching her weight too, will get in a lot of walking and try to eat well. Have a great weekend everyone and I will check back in Tues.!

1/30/07
I'm baaaaaacckkk....from a very busy but happy fun successful shopping weekend with my mother...I didn't make the best food choices but not too bad either, and walked a lot. But I'm busy at work today and so just got on-line to update this journal...
Breakfast: 7 grain hot cereal Lunch: Core spinach quiche and veggie pumpkin soup Dinner: I don't know yet... I had a regular Boca burger and baked potato fries, yum! AND a teaspoon of PB with choc chips...not a lot of points but I'm guilty about it...
APs: Getting 5 today, Firm 48 min. tape after work Water: I'm trying, I definitely will get in 6 oz. glasses but I usually drink a lot more.

1/31/07Breakfast: Polenta and 2 eggs Lunch: Escarole and bean soup Dinner: ?? Have stuff in the house, I just have to heat it up. Tonight is WW meeting and WI and then I have to pick up my food shopping so I won't be home until 7:30 or so. I had pumpkin veggie soup that I added couscous to..and an apple and PBAPs: Leaving work after lunch since everyone is gone to our sales meeting so we admins are taking advantage! ;D I usually don't work out on Wed. but since I will be home early I will do a Firm tape and get in 3 APs at least. Water: Yes I feel OK today but not like I lost this week...trying very hard not to be down on myself and/or crabby if I don't lose at least .2 ... thinking back over the eating week and I think I added in extra calories where they were not necessary. Still trying to stop eating when I'm satisified even though my brain (not stomach) is craving just a little something more...

Ooooooo CARP CARP ... +1.2 this week so looks like I need to take a close look at this journal and see what I ate last week when I lost...there were more bad choices this week, less exercise and water (1 day) but 1.2? OK OK onward and downward... 2/1/07Breakfast: Shredded wheat/Kashi puffed rice combined Lunch: Rosemary chicken with couscous, 1 apple with PB Dinner: ? working at least 1 meeting tonight, I will decide later... I worked 2 meetings so didn't get home until after 9:30..but I had the last piece of spinach quiche, some homemade Core crustless pumpkin pie...and went to bed!APs: None today Water: All and more

2/2/07Breakfast: Smoothie with banana, frozen blueberries, PB, soy milk, ff plain yogurt, Splenda....I just love that hand blender! Lunch: Brought broccoli shrimp chowder and my beloved apple and PB... leaving after lunch 1/2 day today to do laundry and paint bathroom. Dinner: ?? Plenty in the house, I will decide later... APs: I want to paint one of my bathrooms tonight and tomorrow and have it done by Sunday so I don't know if I will do my typical workout today or use painting as my APs...which will be like 2 each day, not enough with what I might eat this weekend (football party Sun.!). I need to think on this. Since I'm leaving early I could paint for a while, work out, paint again... tomorrow is painting and cooking. Water: It shall be done. Have a great weekend, everyone!

2/5/07
Breakfast: Polenta w/2 eggs over easy Lunch: Core ziti w/mushrooms and peppers, grapes Dinner: Leftover lean sirloin with bloody mary sauce...mmmm
APs: 5, doing a 53 min. Firm tape tonight! Water and other 8 GHG: Yes!
Had a good time (haha) painting the 1 bathroom this weekend, got it done in 2 days and it looks really nice. I count 2 APs per day for that "work" because it is work to paint! I felt it in muscles each night, going up and down the step stool, stretching, etc. ... hey it's a little exercise anyway.
My Stoopit Bowl (LOL) party was a success, just me, DBF and another couple. I made sure I was Core for all other meals except last night because although there was some Core food there were also some oh-so-non Core foods and I ate (& drank) 'em! I am not a football fan, it's just an excuse to have a party. But it was fun.

Good job on painting your bathroom...I love to paint...something so simple can completely change the character of a room and make it feel fresh again. Last week at our meeting we made a Superbowl menu. We broke up into groups and our group was the only core group. When I presented the plan I ended with, "and I'm going to knit instead of watching the stupid game" lol I really ended up spending time online, and started reading a book. DH watched the game and it was just the 2 of us. I'm sure you did just fine and now it's over and you can move on. Have a great week Katie

2/6/07Breakfast: Smoothie with strawberries, banana, PB, cocoa, soy milk, Splenda, ice. 2 mini fall muffins (made some in reg. muffin pan, some with my mini pan) Lunch: More leftover Core ziti with mushrooms/peppers, apple with PB Dinner: ? I have to think on it... Dinner update: Not so good. I did have some more leftover lean sirloin from Sun. with low fat mayo...and potatoes with green pepper sauce and also some homemade marinara sauce. Then I sat there, waiting to have to go learn the WW computer...and had 2 handfuls of choc semi-sweet chips! Holy carp. Then I got home from my receptionist experience (which I loved, more on that in another post) and ate 1 fall muffin and about 30 blue tortilla chips and 1/2 jar of salsa!!! OK this journal keeps me accountable, I ate it, I typed it, I'm a dope ...it's over I'm moving on!and eat dinner and run, because I am going to train on the CHAMPS (WW computer) program tonight, I am going to start working at another WW location nearby doing the Tues. 7 pm meeting. But they have the computer set-up, the center where I go and work 2/3 meetings a week is still in the dark ages doing everything manually. I can't wait to learn the computer and how things are done that way. They need a 3rd receptionist at this Tues. meeting, I hope the membership stays up and that I like it so I can continue to work there. APs: I got up at 5:25 am (you must understand how so not a morning person I am) to do a Firm 35 min. tape, nothing too strenuous but at least got 3 APs in. What with working FT and trying to fit in some WW reception work in the evenings, I am going to have to change my exercise routine to keep up with it...so I decided to try this today, and get up 5:45 tomorrow to do one of my 15 min. ab DVDs or something...hoo boy. I can do this. I'm also thinking I may skip my regular Wed. WW meeting since I only need to WI by the 20th of each month, as a WW employee I need to fax in my weight each month to show I'm in compliance. I will miss my friends, leader and the meeting but I need the time!, to cook, & exercise...! I will think on this too. Water and other 8 GHG: Yes, dairy done for today, water will be, oil too...OK.

Good for you with fitting in that exercise! I am pretty useless before 7:00 a.m. and a cup of coffee so I give you a lot of credit.
Thanks as always for your support!
