Girlfriend, I am your long-distance partner in crime with TOM **AND** eating my way through tons last night! But I don't think it's just an excuse. One of the reasons Core rates over flex IMO is because it adjusts itself naturally to our changing needs and metabolism. The same pts do not work for me everyday.
In any case CONGRATS on your loss! And like Sulee, I'm looking forward to more inside scoop!

Well here I am again...I will try to remember what I ate this weekend... LOL Yeah right forget it. It's enough to type this, I can't be bothered actually writing with a pen on paper oh the drudgery ;D at home on the weekends and then transferring to here....since I only have a computer at work.... Fri. dinner: can't for the life of me remember the main part but I did make baked potato fries YUM I have wanted them for so long and it's been awhile!! I have sweet potatoes at home too, I will make sweet potatoes for 1 meal this week...can't wait. Sat.: I had homemade soup for lunch...breakfast was eggs and 1 fall muffin...dinner? This is impossible. I did get all my APs in, and water. I bought a Braun multiquck handblender yesterday and made myself a smoothie for breakfast today -- I love it!! It pulverized frozen strawberries, a banana, etc ...just great! Lunch today will be homemade escarole and white bean soup and a pear... Dinner I don't know yet... Also based on Sulee's suggestion I just ordered Stott's Basic Pilates DVD through Amazon...hopefully it will be here by the end of the week...can't wait to shake up my exercise routine a little.

YAY for APs! Awesome NSV if you ask me.
And yay on the hand blender too. Mine was a goal reward for myself. Try making hummus, bean dips and squash soup!
Hope you have a delightful and easy week.

2/23/07
Breakfast: Polenta with soy cheese and 2 eggs Lunch: Rosemary chicken over brown rice, grapes Dinner: I hope leftover spaghetti squash with homemade sauce... I'll fill this in tomorrow... ;D Yes, this what I ate for dinner... APs: about 4, 40 min. Firm cardio tape planned Water: All as usual
I have been paying attention to what my mind has been telling me, LOL. This (weight loss) is such a mental thing for me. I am rarely ravenous or full. I feel a little twinge, it's time to eat, so I eat. What and how much I eat however...I really gotta get my mind on that. Otherwise it's easy for me to choose the wrong things, and/or eat too much, even of Core foods. And then the calories will get me. I am trying to pay attention and distract myself with other tasks, or a big huge cup of Twinings black vanilla tea each evening...and reading....

I tend to think that if it's core there are no calories...I have to change that mindset. This journey just never ends does it. I think that's a good thing, always the opportunity to learn something new. Have a great day Katie

1/24/07
Breakfast: Shredded wheat and banana Lunch: Spinach quiche (WW core recipe), unsweetened applesauce Dinner: Probably leftover Chinese food from Sunday, but it was steamed chicken and broccoli w/brown rice, garlic sauce on the side. Maybe 2 pts. for the amount of sauce I use. Had some of the ff cheesecake I made....it's almost gone... APs: None because it's WI day and I give myself a day off. Tooooo cold here to walk at lunch even! Water: I'll do it.
Last night I cooked. I made broccoli and shrimp chowder, I got the recipe from the WW core board and I used my new immersion blender!! ;D I love that thing. It tore up the potatoes and broccoli. The soup is very good. I also made a recipe I got on WW, 5 cheese spinach quiche which believe it or not is Core because it's all ff cheese...but I didn't have all the cheeses and I put regular parmesan on top...seriously like 1 pt. a serving even with that. I always change recipes around but don't add any extra calories if I can help it.... I also made ff ricotta and cream cheese cheesecake, kinda made it up, eggs, Spenda, vanilla...I threw in 2 TBP. choc chips to make it, maybe 1 pt. a serving. So I seem to be very stocked with stuff to eat!
Tonight is WI and meeting and I better lose something....whatever it is, I will be happy.

1/25/07
Breakfast: Smoothie with banana, strawberries, blueberries, Splenda, ff plain yogurt, Silk unsweetened, PB and cocoa. Also 2 fall muffins (small). Lunch: Rest of leftover steamed Chinese chick/veggies w/garlic sauce, homemade Core potato salad.
A little larger breakfast/lunch today because I am going to WW mtg center straight from work to work 2 meetings and will probably not get home until 9:30...who knows what I'll eat for dinner then. I'm bringing 24 oz water to the meetings, and I could buy (for 1/2 price) some WW bars or baked snacks but I hate to do that...I don't want to eat that stuff. And, I could have brought something from home that doesn't need to be heated....if I had anything... but it will only be me and 1 other receptionist doing the meetings and there probably won't be time to drink water, let alone eat anything. So..sigh.... Got home about 9:38 pm last night, had some puffed cereal and rest of my cheesecake and went to bed!
APs: None because I'm working WW...I exercise 5x a week lately. When I get my Pilates tape and learn it I think I will get up at 5:30 on Thurs. if I'm working, to do that. Oh boy.
Hey I did lose 1.4 last night WHOO HOO I am happy!!! This trend will continue!! ;D ;D ;D
