Monday, May 9th.
B = Oatmeal
S = Grapes
L = Salad with shrimp and crabmeat. FF Ranch
S = Mixed fruit (watermelon, cantelope, grapes, strawberries), Angel food cake (1pt).
S = WW Choc. Cake (1pt)
D = Barbecue Chicken, Mixed Veg (caulflower, carrots, beans, corn)
S = Slim a Bear Icecream (3pts)
Cleaned and moped house and scrubed front porch (3 hrs.) Washed clothes. Was just in a cleaning mood.
S = Puffed wheat/Fiber one cereal

Tuesday May 10th My daughter is getting married at the end of the month and I have found 2 pant suites over the weekend. It was so much fun shopping. I used to not enjoy it. Brought both outfits to work to show my co-workers. Down a size...of course I had to try it on for them and they pined up the bottom so I can get the length fixed. This is an outdoor casual wedding. They could not believe how good I looked and gave compliments. I was so proud of myself. I just got to keep it up. I can do this B = ww carrot cake (1pt) and 1/2 cup coffee oatmeal L = leftover chicken with the veg. from last night mixed fruit (watermelon, canteloupe, grapes, banana, strawberries) S = rest of the fruit bowl D = Fish, corn on the cob S = 100 Calorie Chips Ahoy (2pts) Puffed Wheat/Fiber One Cereal

S = Fruit bowl (same as yesturday)
L = Veg Salad from Subway Baked Lays Chips (3pts) WW choc cake (1pt)
D = Stir fry Chicken, corn on the cob
S = Slim a Bear Klondike Bar (3pts) 100 Calorie Chips ahoy (2pts) Puff Wheat/Fiber One Cereal Carmel corn (?pts)
Just could not get satisfied. Had a rough evening. Too many points used this evening.

Good Morning! And best wishes for a "more satisfying day to you!" Yesterday was a hard day for me to be satisfied too!!! I am 3 days new to the CORE program and excitingly trying out new recipes!! Unfortunately, reading recipes and thinking about food all day long.....makes me hungry!! Planning my day ahead works great......easier to stay away from my bonus points! Had a banana split yesterday that was "to die for"! 1 sliced banana, 6 chunks pineapple w/1 T juice, 2 T Kashi Crunch cereal, 3 T Walden choc. syrup (0 cal), 2 T FF cool whip. Worth waiting all day for!!!!! Have a great day! MM

I am no expert by any means, but it looks like you are feeding the sugar monster. Even eating too much fruit makes me crave sweets. Guess even all that natural sugar can add up. Good luck...stay focused

Janek, I never thought of that. Maybe I am eating to much fruit......all I know is that all of a sudden I am hungry and before I was not. I am not sure how I reply to someone when they right in my journal.....I am new at this. If you can help, let me know. Thanks

I am trying to cut back on the fruit but boy this was a hard weekend. Too much going on and hard to concentrate. Had company and ate out alot. Not use to that. Hard to count all the points. I know I am over and Wed is weighin. Might be the 1st time I will gain. Here is what I had for Sat, Sun and Monday
Saturday May 7th B - Bob Evans breakfast (3eggs, canadian bacon, 1 slice wheat bread) L - Eat n Park (salad, cottage cheese for the salad bar) S - Slim a Bear Klondike Bar D - Foxes Pizza (Grilled Chicken Salad, 1s pizza) S - Fruit bowl (small) and 100 calorie chips ahoy
Sunday May 8th B = French twist Low fat 60 calorie (1pt) L = Salad with FF Ranch S = Slim a Bear Fudge Sickle (1pt) D = Barbecue roast sandwich FF potato chips (1pt) 1 slice of pizza (14?pts) S = 100 calorie chips ahoy (2pts)

Jane, No you don't sound harsh at all. I did do that....didn't I. Oh boy...thanks for bringing that to my attention. Tonight is weighin so I hope I didn't blow it too much. Thanks again for your help. I do appreciate it.

I want "no company" until I get this CORE program under control.......I can see how hard it will be.....
Cut up some veggies and make some CORE dip....and dip some strawberries in choc. pudding.....and oatmeal with skim milk really helps me as a snack...

Thanks for the help, I will keep that in mind. I weighted in last night and maintained. Boy was I happy. Worked in the yard till dark. Trying to stay out of the kitchen. Today is cleaning night. That should help. Hopefully do better this week. Going on a "Womens Retreat" for the weekend. I will be challenged. I Pray I don't go overboard.
