Okay, so last week I went the wrong direction again -- up 1.2 instead of down any at all.
If I gain this week, I will go on Flex for just one week, because portion size has been my enemy and I need to practice eating smaller portions.
My mid-range goal is to get to Onederland by the time school is out. I think that's doable.

I've been on Core just over a year, and in that year I have a net loss of just over 25 pounds. At that rate, I will be at goal in a little over four years. I could live with that, but I can do better.
The year before, I had a net loss of around six pounds for the year -- that was primarily on South Beach and with the support of TOPS. Unfortunately, our TOPS group folded. I would still be going there, too, otherwise, I think -- after all, I need all the support and accountability I can get.
I had my big meal at lunch today because I was hungry. I had grilled salmon, brown rice, and mushrooms sauteed with onions in olive oil. It was really very good, but, of course, I ate too much. I've got stuff to make the Core Taco Soup for supper.
If I gain again this week I think I will try a week on Flex, just to start getting myself used to smaller portions. I'm eating way past my point of satisfaction, and yesterday I ate almost to the point of nausea again, definitely to the point of discomfort.

So it's been about two and a half years since I've been here, and during that time I've gone to about 2 1/2 pounds above my previous highest weight ever Before that, I'd lost just under forty pounds. Saturday morning, I went back to WW, and I have been back on Core all week. Tomorrow morning I go back. I think I should do okay, even though I haven't gotten back in with the exercising. I really think I self-medicate with food, in a way. This week has been kind of different in that I have been experiencing emotions a lot more intensely than I have been. I know that's a good thing, but it's also difficult at times. I think maybe that's why I've been sleeping so much this week. Well, that and the fact that I'm on vacation and CAN sleep as much as I want to. Assuming I lose tomorrow, I'll put a new counter up.

I was a little disappointed at weigh-in, only 1.6 pounds, but not too disappointed. I figure at my age and with my extensive history of yo-yoing I'm not going to get that big loss the first two or three weeks any more.
I went to the Farmers Market after the meeting and got tons of fruits and veggies, then to Krogers for lean meat to keep in the freezer.
Before my knitting class, I went to StarBucks got a skinny latte with FF Cinnamon dolce. I have to admit, it was every bit as good as the white mocha I usually get, with whipped cream and everything, and more fun than plain black coffee.
I really do want a star next week, though.
Even though it's just 1.6 pounds out of 105.6 that I have to lose, I'm going to head out of here and find a counter -- it is a start, after all.

Yes, that counter looks nice ;-) I've had a pretty good day so far. Last week, my tummy had to start getting used to the fresh fruits and veggies. This week, my bladder's having to get used to all that water I guess it's a good thing I don't seem able to change everything at once And that it's summer vacation and I can stay home.

So far, today's been good, too For breakfast, I had coffee, skim milk, and plums (which, believe it or not, my dog insisted on sharing with me ) For an early lunch, I had turkey breast, potatoes, sliced tomatoes, tea, and skim milk. The turkey and potatoes were going to be dinner, but I turned the crock pot on high and got really hungry because it smelled so good -- that's the only problem with cooking in the crock pot when I'm home. But it was really good, and I've got leftovers Tonight I might have some of the chicken breast and veggie soup I made last week and froze portions of, along with the rest of the fruit salad I made yesterday. I probably ate too much yesterday (I "felt" hungry last night, though I doubt that I really was), but everything was on the list, so it's not nearly as bad as heading for a fast food drive-thru ) I do have to work on accepting that "satisfied" feeling as full.

Today's been okay so far, too, except that I've used 4 weekly points. I've still got several for tonight and the next three days, though. And I haven't had potatoes or rice yet today, so I can have rice with my salmon tonight.
I haven't accomplished as much today, but that's okay, since I've had a pretty busy past three days. I'm not sure whether I'll mow the front yard today or not. It is kind of scraggly, but it isn't really long. I might wait till tomorrow. Except that will mean no exercise today. Oh well, I can let the dog walk me. I went to Curves yesterday.

One more day OP. No exercise, though. I've done very little today that was constructive. Maybe tonight if I'm too rested to sleep.
