Great job planning!! The pizza is just not worth it! I remember the last time i was on core for like 2 months...I went out with some friends and had my favorite pizza. It wasnt as good as I remembered it being. After a while of being on core foods the other stuff doesnt taste good..Some things taste too salty or too bland. so its probably not good anyway!! enjoy your popcorn during the meeting while everyone else eats crap! Lol

We went out to lunch again today, to a restaurant I'd never been to. All sorts of breaded and deep fried stuff and homemade pies (this is the midsouth, after all) -- I had a chef salad, minus the cheese, and counted points for the salad dressing, croutons, and fake bacon (I would have omitted the croutons and bacon, but I forgot to). The goodies around me looked really good, but I left satisfied. Maybe I'm beginning to find my REAL comfort zone (I hope).
jane, I've debated whether I should add a star for every milestone -- if there were a 50-point star I'd just hold out for that, but since 25 is the highest they go I might have to consider adding a 5-point star.
Gingerjenny, I've found junk food I used to like that I'm not crazy about any more, but I don't think I'm to that point with pizza yet. Or with several other things. I think I might test a pizza this summer, some time I'm out at the mall and can buy just a slice at the food court. I don't want to lose my taste for the things I really enjoy, but I sure do hope to be able to enjoy them without abusing them.
People at work were really nice to those of us on WW today and yesterday, though. But they brought things like Atkins chocolate bars and recipes made with low-fat ingredients. The funny thing is, I really didn't need to eat all day just because we were all together and doing something different -- though always before, I'd have munched all day long.
Well, tomorrow it's back to school. I've sure enjoyed these past two days, though.

Yea, Jane, it does look cool, doesn't it I made spaghetti today -- not that whole wheat stuff (which I really can't stand), but regular spaghetti, which I counted points for. I planned for points for seconds (which I figured I'd fix anyway), but I stopped after one serving. Seems as if I've conquered another "trigger" food (well, either that, or the spaghetti I made today just wasn't very good). Anyhoo, I'm taking this as a good thing. I've been tired all day, and have done nothing. I did have to mow the lawn, and I just did the front yard and got a start on the back. I was kind of bummed out about having such a blah day, until it dawned on me that I used to have days like this most weekends -- I've just been more energetic since I've been on Core and exercising. I guess it's normal to be tired after two really difficult weeks at work, when I was busy last weekend. Well, I just hope I feel like doing more tomorrow, cuz I sure haven't accomplished much today.

WW weigh-in was yesterday - down another two pounds ;D
I left my computer print-out at Curves when I left today, but it was my weigh-and-measure day, and I lost about six inches in my hips and thighs (everything else stayed the same, though I did lose just under ten pounds for this months, which is pretty consistent with my WW weigh-ins). I hope they'll keep it till I can get it tomorrow afternoon ;D

Well, it's Friday the Thirteenth Eve.
And I'm kind of bummed today.
I didn't get to Curves Monday or Tuesday (the car conked out, and had to get a new fuel pump), but I've done okay with the eating.
People ask me what I'm planning to do this summer, and I just say, "Lose weight." Those are the only plans I've got. I really need the time for myself this year -- I hope nothing screws it up.
Tuesday is the last day of school for our kids, and Wednesday is a half-day for us. I am soooooo ready for summer.
I hope everyone's having a good week ;-)

This has been a pretty good day. I got some welcomed news with respect to one problem, and I got reason to believe that good news might come with respect to another major concern. And I got several positive comments about how good I'm looking (one from a former student), and I think they were all sincere. Yesterday, a dieting friend (also on WW, but doing flex) asked if I wanted her size 18 pants as she was down to 16s. I said, first, that I can't wear size 18, but thanked her for thinking I look like I do, and said I hoped to be able to wear them by the fall (maybe that's pushing it a bit, but I think it's a fairly reasonable goal).

We're done!!!
Well, today was the last day for the kids -- we have half a day tomorrow. But, it's all over but the finishing up.
I am a bit worried about how I'll make it on the diet this summer. I think if I make a concentrated effort the first couple of weeks, it will get easier. I am going to go back to the exercise class, in addition to Curves -- maybe Curves three days a week and the class the other two. And fresh fruits and veggies should be available before too terribly long, which should help.
I usually get my hair cut once or twice a year, when I go to one of those "no appointment necessary" places in the mall and have it permed, but I've got an appointment for next Tuesday at one of those "salons," with someone who is supposedly really good at working with fine, limp. thin hair (like mine). I want a really good cut -- now that my face isn't quite so round. Hopefully, this will help with my motivation. I'll let you all know next week how it looks.

Okay, so over the last two weeks, I gained 4 lbs Weigh-in was last night. Anyhoo, I got up this morning, went back to my banana-and-skim-milk breakfast, and went back to writing down everything I eat. I'm keeping track of my water. I hadn't quit exercising, but I was going to do more, which I haven't started doing yet -- but I will. Oh, yea, and I set my ticker back four pounds. I'm hoping I can move it back up to where it was, by next Monday.

I didn't get to WW meeting Monday night, and it doesn't look like I'm going to get to one this week at all, but I think it will be okay. I've gotten to Curves as often as I could, and last night I went back to my exercise class for the first time in SEVERAL months. I can go to that class only once a week (it meets just twice a week, once being the same night and time as WW), but I'm going to make a major effort to go every Wednesday, at least over the summer (yesterday, I did Curves in the morning and exercise class at night). So far, I've done okay with my food, too, though I've eaten out more than usual (summer break and all).
