tonight I made lifetime. Wow I feel very humbled and proud all at the same time. I've never reached goal before let alone made lifetime. I know keeping this weight off is going to be a lifelong project. But I do feel like I can do it. I wore my wedding going-away dress tonight to the meeting. I haven't worn it in 25 years. We just celebrated our 26th anniversary last week, so to be able to wear this dress has very special meaning. the timing is really incredible. This is the only piece of clothing my husband has always wanted me to be able to wear again, and now I can. Don't know that I will ever wear it in public since I'm not really into wearing vintage, especially since I wore it the first time around. I want you all to know how much your support and kind words have meant to me. I really feel like I have such a wonderful group of friends. You have all made this journey more enjoyable and do-able. Thank you all of you.

Tammy and MelloYello, Congratulations on awesome losses. Doesn't a great loss keep motivating you for the next WI. It did for me. I am maintaining well, although I can see some undesirable old habits sneaking back in. I need to re-read the materials to see how to maintain more gracefully. My daughter Kelly has now transfered her membership to the town she lives in, only 12 miles away, but with the price of gas, she decided she should go to the meeting there. Last night she was down 4.2lbs (over 2 weeks), for a total of 17.8. Yea Kelly. I'm so excited for her.

Good job Thursday weighers. In my book any amount down is fantastic. I'm down .6 this week. I had an interesting experience today. I work in an old fashioned variety store. We have everything from fabric to house paint to gift wear, housewares.... you get the idea. Anyway today we got in a 50lb bag of dog food, and a 25lb bag of catfood. They were on the pushcart together and I couldn't move them together. I dawned on me that that is about how much weight I have lost and I used to carry that around everyday. No wonder my knees hurt and I couldn't walk up stairs without huffing and puffing and why I just felt icky, and tired all the time. Sometimes such a visual reminder is very inspiring. I deffinately never want to get back to that point. Have a great week everyone.

3 pounds down after my first week back on Core! And that's WITH pre-TOM, which is amazing because I usually retain more water than a camel that week.
