Don't you get discouraged now GirliePurple!!! Enjoy yourself exactly how you are RIGHT NOW! Enjoy your meals. We are all such perfectionists--and that's not a good thing.
I forgot to tell everyone that I also quit smoking--it took me many months, slowly tapering off. But it still hits me--wanting to smoke again.
I'm a mess! But I'm still here. I'm slowly getting some good habits going again. Rome wasn't built in a day, so they say.

Sandy - congratulations to you on quitting smoking!! ;D That is fantastic. I never smoked but I have many friends who did/still do and we all know how hard an addiction it is to quit. And smoking curbs your appetite so once you stop you get hungrier! But you know WW so your weight will come off. The important thing is you are saving your lungs and your health. Good for you!!

Good Morning Tuesday!
Hope everybody has a good CORE day! I am going to work at the Antique Mall today--so I take my lunch. I've added having a fruit at breakfast.
What I am striving for is getting steady and regular with 3 meals a day, evenly spaced out. If I go too long without eating I get really crazy, or want to over-eat.
I had a bad bout with wanting to smoke yesterday, because I drank a cup of coffee. Gotta leave that coffee alone. Oh well...I'll get there.

I have two good days under my belt of Core eating. At this point I am not worried so much about the weight...just getting back into the swing of it and eating healthy. I know it works if I do it so am focusing on doing it.
Sandy - great job quitting smoking...your lungs and heart and whole body will thank you in the long run!
All the rest of you...hope you are sticking with it, too, so that we can say in June that we gave it our best!

Well everybody, I feel like I had a good week, trying to get back in the CORE groove. I went to my meeting today, and I maintained. So that is that.
I'm still here, so that is good. I've had a good day so far.

I lost 1.4 at weigh in today so I'm happy the scale is going in the right direction. I have been working out a ton and writing everything down so I feel like I'm in a really good place. I'd like to be back at goal (5 lbs) by Passover (4/19) which is doable but I have THREE trips between now and then. It will take some perseverence.
The weather here is a balmy 57 degrees - such a pleasure. Chicago has been hit so hard with the weather this winter. It will be back in the 20s this weekend so I'm taking advantage of it.

Sounds like you are all doing well. I hate to say that though I started the challenge it has been challening me. So, today I plan to sit down and plan for a few days and try to figure out what I will be eating. With hubby home again for a few days that may be less easy than when he is away, though. Glad this challenge is "be the best I can be by June" because so far I haven't done much more than contemplate what to do rather than doing it.
So...hat off to those of you DOING IT!
