Happy Monday ladies!
It's great to see your refocus Coco & Xena - best wishes for a good week.
My DH and I went out for a very lavish dinner on Saturday, I'm trying not to let myself feel that my whole week is sabatoged. Today is a new day starting with a new cereal (Kashi Vive) and spinning class. The weather is warm enough to grill so I'll probably pick up some fish and vegetables to grill for tonight. Yesterday we took a field trip to the new Whole Foods in Chicago by my aunt's house and it was much bigger than the one we have here in the burbs. It had a full sushi/noodle bar and also a station with smoked meats where they were making sandwiches (the brisket looked awesome) and you could buy a pint of beer and sit and eat there! They also had a sorbet & gelato bar. Speaking of gelato, I had some for dessert at an Italian restaurant last night (pistachio - YUM) and while it was really tasty it was 4 points for a 1/2 cup - EEK! That needs to be a once in awhile treat I guess.
The weather was warm here this weekend - we went to the zoo on Saturday and it was great to be outside. I had a veggie burger for lunch there, it is impressive that these kind of places are carrying much healthier options than they used to. We're heading to Disney in October, I'm anxious to see the food selection there but I'm sure there will be a lot of variety - Disney knows how to do things right.
Hope everyone has a great day today and hope you can get outside!
-Beth

Quick Note:
I have been thinking, planning and doing my best today. I had a healthy on program breakfast with one point extra of nuts in the hot cereal then had a great whole wheat pasta and eggplant-tomato based sauce on it with some ground beef but this evening am nipping a bit at the wine...guess it is good I did my exercise today and also that there are 35 points to play with in a week! Onward and downward and once again committed...

Thanks for you support everyone. It means the world to me.

Just to let you know I had a so-so first day back on program. I ATE pretty well but did end up with some wine in the evening that became more wine. Didn't fritter away ALL of my points in the first day but put a dent into them. Urgh...onward and downward knowing that it is the entire week's effort (or lifetime?) that makes the biggest impact in the long run.

I think the spring air is helping so many of us re-focus and re-motivate. It's working for me. I've had a great weekend and start of the work week. I'm filling out my weekly tracker and actually COUNTING wpa. (I know pretty amazing!!!) My plan is to spend the wpa equally throughout the week and that is working out wonderfully. I've been eating fish again YUM and am just really feeling back in the game. I'm even thinking about getting in some additional exercise Maybe...lol Congrats Xena on your 2lbs gone, also Beth for the .6. Geha, you are doing great...it's all one step at a time. Have a fantastic day Katie

Okay I have gone 4 whole days without sugar. I can't believe it and fortunately it is getting easier with time.
I worked out today again and am feeling good. Need to stretch still since my back is getting tight again.
Kate: That is a good idea to spread the points out evenly. I think it lets you splurge with moderation on a regular basis. I know I can't do that with sugar since a little leads directly to a lot.
Hang in. Let's let the spring air carry us to healthy eating.

Everyone's doing such a great job!!!
I lost 3.2 this week. I think I may need to go to more conferences!! Okay, so 2+ more weeks on this challenge. I have to remind myself of my challenge goals: GHGs No sugar APs (24 or more per week)
I have had no sugar since I restarted WW 3 weeks ago. I have been excercising regularly, though I don't know that I've officially achieved 24 APs. But I also think I'm counting wrong. Aaaaaaw...who cares? A rose by any other name is still a rose (this is my 'expression of the week'). I feel like I'm excercising the right amount!! 4-5x per week, and getting stronger and leaner. Gosh, I can get so darned bogged down in the details!!! GHGs...I give myself a B+. I'll work on an A. Those check off lists help!
Stay strong everyone!!

WOW Xena & Mighty - your losses are awesome! As is 24 AP's Miss Mighty! That is a ton. I can only do that if I spin several times a week and the last several weeks I've only been able to get it in once.
But, I'm happy to report I RAN for 20 minutes today, about a mile and a half. WOO HOO! Only counts for 2 AP's but I'll take it. I also had a great lunch of a 2pt tortilla filled with spinach, mushrooms and FF cheddar along with FF sour cream, salsa and some avocado. I am still full from it! Quesadillas and pizzas made with low-point tortillas are my new thing these days.
The weather is turning cold again, how sad! Hopefully no more snow but you never know in Chicago.
Hope everyone is having a great day!!
-Beth

Congrats, Mighty!!! That is fantastic.
I'm still having a good week. A couple of small slip-ups, but still within the 35wpa. Tonight is WI so we'll see how it goes. I feel better though so even if the scale doesn't show a loss I know I'm headed in the right direction. Have a great day Katie
