The weekend was preety good. Ended up not skiing with the kids. Scheduling problems. But I did go to spin class this morning. It was a tough one. I have had a headache all morning. I have been trying to fight it, took some tylenol and been drinking lots of water. Trying to stay away from the comfort foods. I always gravitate towards them when I don't feel well. Just take it one day at a time. I know I can do this!!
Breakfast: Coffee w/ skim milk, oatmeal and sliced apple
Lunch: sm can tuna, 1/2 avocado and 1/3 c brown rice with some balsamic vinegrette.
Snack: coffee w/ skim milk
Dinner: beef fajitas w/ brown rice & salad.

Tues 2/19
I got on the scale this morning and I am up a bit. I'm trying not to look to the scale but go by my fit in clothes since I have been working out. But I definately have gained weight since I started going back to the gym in November. I guessing it's mucsle since my clothes are fitting fine. It would just be nice if my body would get into gear and shead some weight. I need to keep an eye on portion control but sometimes I wonder if I'm just not eating enough. It's the fine line that I am walking but I am healthy and that's what really matters the most.
Today:
Breakfast: 2 non fat lattes - really busy at work
Lunch: Tossed salad with corn, black beans, chopped pepper, some shredded cheddar and left over beef fajita - no dressing
Snack: The breakfast I was going to eat - oatmeal and chopped apple
Dinner: Salad & Spinach, Mushroom, Onion & Cheese Frittata
no AP today but planning on spinning class tomorrow morning.

Wed 2/20 I lost it last night during Mah Jongg. I didn't go crazy but still...chocolate covered prezels and english toffee. SO I am dealing with sugar cravings. I have held off so far but it's been a tough day. Plus I did not make it to the gym I was out too late last night and could not wake up early. Breakfast: SFFF latte, 1/3 c NF plain yogurt, 1/2 c raspberies, 1/3 c granola Lunch: 2 egg salad sandwich w/ ff mayo and 1 bell pepper, NF latte Snack: 1/2 c brown rice & 1 1/5 slice munster cheese Dinner: Tossed salad w/ chicken teriyaki and brown rice I need to drink more water!!!

I have been feeling a bit out of control. No will power and having trouble making the right choices. I wish I could get a grip on it.

I still feel lousy and gross. Not sure if it's depression or if I might be coming down with something. But I don't like this feeling. I'm trying to find a way to feel better without heading for the comfort foods.
today: Breakfast: NF latte, oatmeal and 1 banana
Lunch: veggie soup w/ brown rice and 1 orange
Dinner: tossed salad, broiled chicken and sweet potato
Snack: either banana chips or grapes or NF latte

Today seems better. I feeling like I am closer to having control again. It's a sunny day too. I think that helps.
today Breakfast: NF Latte, sliced banana, 1/4 SF granola & 3/4c milk
Lunch: 1/2 c brown rice and veggie/bean stew, 1 slice zucchini bread
Snack: NF Latte
Dinner: miso soup, tofu steak & brown rice

Thurs 2/28
Last night was a catastrophe. I lost control and kept eating even though I was not hungry. But today is a new day and I'm holding my own. Sugar addictions are the worst. I've read that using SF can trigger it too. I'm starting to seriously think it's true. But then again I am under a lot of pressure right now. Big meeting out of town next week. I'm mostly not looking forward to sitting all day in a room and being fed constantly. Whoever hosts the meeting is always trying to outdo the last.
My plan is to head for the gym to try and offset some of the meeting!
Today: Breakfast: 1/2 nf latte, 1 banana, 1/2 c granola and 1/2 c nf milk
Lunch: tossed salad w/ 1 hard bolied egg and 2 pieces of toast w/ butter
Dinner: Brown rice and veggie stew
The kids have swim tonight so it will be busy.

Friday 2/29
Leap day!!! I'm doing good today. Trying to figure out how to get back into a routine of exercise and eating properly when I get back from my trip.
Breakfast: 1/2 nf latte, 1 banana, 1/2 c granola & 1 c nf milk
Lunch: spinach salad w/hard bolied egg and 2 slices of toast (need to start cutting the toast out!)
I'm not feeling so hot after lunch, not sure if it was something I ate. But I'm really queezie right now. DH was not feeling good last night so it might be a bug too. UHG!! I hate being sick. Gonna try and lie down for a bit to try and feel better. Snack: 1 big orange
Dinner: TBD

I was seriously thinking of switching over to Flex Points but I like the whole idea of Core. I have been having a rough time with my weight loss due to my mindset. I, too, have to exercise and have been using the weather as an excuse NOT to go outside and the clothes on my Nordic Track NOT to hop on for a few minutes. I don't want to be a whiner but I feel that by reading how others are doing and going to my meetings (which I do go to whether I lose weight or not) will help. Thanks for being here!

One step closer to spring!! It was almost 50 yesterday and it felt great. But we have so much snow we are having problems with the water draining around our house. Plus it started raining and we are expecting the temp to drop AGAIN and SNOW....UHG!!! Hopefully I will miss all terrible weather. I leave for Phoenix in the morning. Yippie! And I plan on spending as much down time as I have to exercise. We will be staying very close to a trail, I can get some hiking in.
Today: Breakfast: nf latte
Lunch: salad w sliced turkey, 2 slices toast w/butter & 1 small apple
Snack: nf latte, 1/2 c raspberries
Dinner: Big salad w/ sliced turkey, asparagus, pear, carrott, cranberries, and pistacios

Tues 3/11 Back from my Phoenix trip. Hectic but nice. I got an opportunity to see my dad and my sister for some quality time. I tried not to eat any dessert while I was there but was only able to hold off until my last 48 hours. All in all I did pretty good. I was able to maintain and got back into a routine as quickly as possible. I will say this change in time made it even tougher. But I did go to the gym yesterday and plan on doing it again tomorrow morning. I am trying to squeeze in some walking time but just could not make it happen this morning. The weather looks nice but the wind feels really cold to me today. today: Breakfast: NF SF Latte, 1/2 c raspberries, 1/4 c FF yogurt & 1/4 c granola Lunch: big tossed salad w/ balsamic dressing & 2 pieces wheat toast & butter spread (I need to cut out the bread!) Snack: green grapes & 1 string cheese Dinner: TBD Trying to drink lots of water

yesterday was a baaaaad day. I was on the sugar horse all day long. I am trying really hard to avoid any refined sugar today. But I definately am not feeling 100%. It's either all the sugar or I'm will be coming down with something soon. A couple people have been out with the flu. Ick! Hope it's not that.
Today:
Breakfast: 1/2 c SF FF latte, 1 bowl oatmeal w/ flax seed and 1/2 apple
Lunch: tuna salad, celery and tomatoes
Snack: strawberries, FF latte
Dinner: either soup or salad

Well the weekend was a bust. I lost it copletely on Sunday and ate a bunch of doughnut. I am fighting a major sugar craving right now. I'm trying to figure out how it calm down my craving a bit without giving in.
Today:
Breakfast: SF FF latte, 1/2 banana, 1 dollop ff yogurt & 1/4 c granola
Lunch: spinach salad w/sliced chicken & orange
Snack: FF latte
Dinner: Beef chili & tossed salad. Might make some corn bread too for DH and kids

Mon 3/24
Well, I have reached my all time high here at Kippy's. Up to 142.5. For some people that might not be much but I am very upset by this. I leave for vacation tomorrow and I just want to either maintain or drop 1-2 lbs while on my trip. I have been fighting some depression since the time change(early March). Not sure why but hopefully this trip will give me sometime to reflect and become centered again. I miss that old "gung ho" feeling I had earlier this year.
