Tuesday 5/29
Had WI today and I am up .3 not bad considering how much ice cream and brownies I ate over the weekend. I have a feeling I have more consequences to over come this week. I have to shake off the sugar addiction AGAIN! I ate some cookies this morning for breakfast but I am trying really hard to steer clear of anything like that for the rest of the day. I just had some core chili for lunch and I have some fruit, yogurt and an avocado to snack on until dinner. I am planning on making grilled chicken and veggies. I am going to attempt making polenta tonight. Living on the edge!! And a BIG SALAD! I'm looking forward to it.
I need to work on my disposition though, not sure if it's just the day but I am in a bit of a depressed state. Not good while dieting. I have a planned walk tonight so that may help me a bit.

Wed 5/30 5pm
I am working late tonight trying to get ahead of schedule since I will be out of town most of next week. I am looking forward to the trip even if it's mostly business. I'll be in San Fran so I can do a lot of walking and eat lots of seafood. yum!!
The day is almost over and I think I may make it without sugar. The addicition is always a hard thing for me get past. Once I make it to day 3 I am smooth sailing for a while. But the first two days are always rough. I was starving so I ate dinner early, lucky I brought it (thinking ahead). Core chili, green salad & sliced avocado. It hit the spot.
Today:
B: coffee w/ ff milk, sliced apple, 1/3 c plain yogurt and 1 tsp sliced almonds
L: Lg green salad w/ grilled chicken breast, 1 banana
S: ff popcorn
S: green grapes and some sliced cheese
D: green salad, core chili & sliced avocado.

Good job during the holiday weekend! I envy your San Fran visit even if it's for work...have a safe fun trip!

Thursday, Not sure what is going on but I have an appetite that just will not stop!!I am trying hard to eat only core food. I just finished dinner but I really am craving a dessert. I am going to try and resist. Otherwise I have some FF SS pudding to make as a last resort. I really just need to calm down and think about how I feel. Then I might be able to make a better decision.

Summer is over and I am ready to get back on track.
Goals:
Exercise 3 + times a week. No wheat products for 1 week.
Today:
B: 1 c cantelope & 4 oz ff cottage cheese SFFF latte
S: SFFF Latte
L: 2 egg salad w/ ff mayo & sliced bell peppers
S: Hummus & sugar snap peas
D: Tossed green salad & ragu sauce over brown rice

Hi, Pam!!! I love my summer and it's not over until 9/23 (first day of autumn!) !!! ;D But after Labor Day is a good time to set goals again, I have to do that too. I hope you enjoyed and continue to enjoy your summer and that everyone posts more now that we're in September!

Mon 9/17
It was a rough week food wise due to the HH & Ds birthday. So I am up a bit but still down from when I recommitted to doing core. I was able to exercise on Sunday before the party. I started to run/walk. I'm guessing I did a mile but in reality it's probably less. DS has sunday school at a local high school so I found an empty field and started to run. It made me realize how out of shape I really am. I have an interal goal this week to wake up at early and go to the gym before the kids wake up on Wednesday. I warned DH to be ready to deal with the morning. And I am planning on packing everything up Tuesday night to not have an excuse to being late. They have a 5:30am spin class or a 6:00am barbell exercise class. The plan is if I miss one class I can still get into another. Plan C is simply to swim laps if the classes are full.
Later on: Walked 1 mile during break

D: salad w/sliced chicken Spinach/feta omlette w/ sliced tomatoes
I'm still sick. Just a low fever and cough. I don't have much of an appetite and plan on going to bed early tonight. I might head home early and offer the kids a walk to the park and dinner in town so I don't have to cook. The weather is warming up here for the week (high of 77 today). I know I need to simply sleep off this illness but DH is out of town so I am stuck with all the responsibilities for the next few days.

I'm feeling better today but I can't stop coughing. I found some SF cough drops and I am drinking tea to try and stop the coughing as well as trying to talk as little as possible. A hard task since I am at work today. Not sure how the day will go.

2:30pm - I got a quick pedicure in today. It was a nice break. I was able to walk over to the salon so I got some walking in too. It's a nice day so it felt good. I am hoping to get the kids out after an early dinner and do a bit more walking otherwise I am on the treadmill tonight. BORING! Not sure if it's simply the pants today or if I am starting to trim down a bit but they feel looser. ;D
