Don't forget to get that gold key at your meeting this week! Yeah it's all about maintaining now, and as you can see from others who have made Lifetime...the struggles never end but at least you did it! That's what gets me through. I will never be more than 5 lbs. over goal again, no matter how hard I fall off the wagon. My floors look great. I haven't danced yet LOL but I did work out and it's loud, have to get an exercise mat! Also area rugs...more $$... but I really like the floors.

Welcome to Lifetime Beth! I must echo Cathy, the struggles never do end. I think maintaining is harder than losing, for me anyway. That's why a group like this is so valuable. I think it's the one thing that keeps me honest. So, great work! And just in time for summer! Karen

Sorry about your struggles with PF, Beth... it really does suck!
My biggest suggestion is to freeze dixie cups filled with water and then roll your arches over the rounded sides. It really helps to get the cold into the tissues. And be sure to GENTLY stretch your feet (toes up towards the knees, heels reaching away from the rest of the leg) BEFORE getting out of bed to prevent the morning re-tearing of the fascia. On days when your feet really hurt, wearing a heel or wedge, rather than flat shoe, can help. I finally got acupuncture for my feet and it helped right away when i got PF years ago. Have had no problems since.

Hey - how are you today? You are correct - maintenance is hard!! I'm still working WW, barely, in the summer meeting attendance is down and I have only been working 1 meeting on Thursdays. I thought the other day, if I was not a WW employee I would have to pay! Cuz we get a little more leeway with WI than non-employees.... it's almost not worth the money I make but attendance should pick up after the summer, and it's play money... but it's a little discouraging. So hang in there...the important thing is this is for life so it's worth it to keep trying. Even without working for WW I truly believe it is the best life eating plan out there.

Good, healthy day so far today. I've been counting points rather than doing Core and this seems to have worked for me the last few months. However, after I WI on Friday I think I'm going to try Core for the week. Counting points really helped me to get my portions back in control so now I may be able to handle Core a lot better. Since making Lifetime I've put on a few pounds and I'm not happy about it!
Breakfast: Oatmeal w/ half an apple, coffee w/ skim milk
Workout: Spinning - 6 APs!
Snack - handful of pretzels
Lunch - Edamame & sushi (so delish)
Snack: 4 cashews, Parfait made w/ blackberries, raspberries, fiber one and FF cool whip
Dinner: leftover turkey breast made into fajitas w/ peppers & onions, probably will have 1 tortilla, glass of wine.
Hope everyone had a terrific day!
-Beth

Humid, wet day today. Dad arriving this afternoon, I hope the storms from last night don't have the flights backed up today at O'Hare.
Got on the scale this morning, down a pound from yesterday. Don't want to get into the habit of daily weighing, I know it's a bad one.
Need to get in lots of water today because I am HOT already. Trying to get my morning cup of coffee down. DH shared his cold with me, what love. I've got a bit of a sore throat too.
No workout for me today. A meeting this morning, a quick lunch with a friend and back home to finish cleaning the house before Dad arrives. I will go to WI tomorrow and face the number. I've come too far to let myself get derailed!

Hey - looks like we're the only ones on Kippy's recently...I have to check the other journals and the challenge.
We're going to Pt. Pleasant Beach next week. We rented a cottage there a few years ago, we got the same one. About 5 houses down from the boardwalk....cannot wait !! ;D

I am back to Core this week after several months of doing Flex and counting points. So far I think it's going okay, although I am not tracking my WPA's and I know that got me in trouble last time around. I'm also really trying to keep my portions in check. Anyway, we'll see how it goes. It's my TOM this week so I don't know if this week will be the best indicator.
Saturday we leave for Michigan for a week. I figure it will be easier to stay Core while being away for a week, especially since half of the people we're going with are also doing Core. It is a really busy week this week with the last week of camp and some other things going on. I am looking forward to our family vacation though.
