Thanks Jane and everyone! Well, made it through 4 weeks now! Whew! Down 16 lbs since 4/18 so am pleased....if not on Core....would probably be up another 16!!!
Loving Core!!!! Celebrated yesterday with chili and watermelon!! lol....funny combination....but 2 things that I have been craving and they were wonderful.....grazed on them both for snack too!!
Breakfast Day 1 Week 5

I added 2 pts for extra portion of chil (has a little ground beef in it and am guessing I should add a couple of points)

Whew!! Sure am glad that Kippy's site is back!! My journal is behind....have it on paper....so am not going to enter all of the missing days.
Here is yesterday:
Breakfast Sat 6/11 Day 6 Week 5
2 eggs, fried potatoes/scallions in oil, cantaloupe
Lunch (counted 4WP just in case)
Old Country Buffet: fish, corn on cob, brussel sprouts, salad, FF dressing, watermelon, sugar free dessert made with skim milk & sf/ff pudding (I asked)
Snack 2 pieces Baked oatmeal w/banana
Dinner FF cottage cheese, cantaloupe, popcorn LOL
Snack WW ice cream
This day was better than the few days before (not journalled) We have been painting and remodeling kitchen and have not been cooking much....I have not eaten near enough on those days....had to supplement with WW TV dinners as last resort on 2 days. Hopefully this doesn't mess up the scale on Monday!

Thanks Jane!!! My weigh in is today at 9:30 AM....so hope all of us Monday weigh-ins have a great success on the scales!!!!!
Feels really good to get back to normal Core meals after a couple of days of being on the run and having to resort to a couple of TV dinners in a pinch. Hate when that happens!
Breakfast Sun Day 7 Week 5
2 poached eggs, 1 toast, cantaloupe 1WP
Snack Banana pudding
Lunch BBQ Core style ribs, mixed veg, hominy, salad
Dinner BBQ Core style chicken, salad
Snack Huge bowl of berries with skim milk
8 water, 2 coffee, 1WP, Total for week 31 WP (most I have ever had...due to TV dinners!)
My ribs and chicken were DELICIOUS!!! Used boneless lean pork chops....cut into rib sized strips...and cooked in slow cooker 1 hr....then poured Diet coke BBQ recipe over and cooked another hour...then 1/2 hour uncovered!!!!
Anxious to see what WW scale says today....I used 31 WP this week.....hope this doesn't hurt me!!!!!!

Thanks everyone again for all of your support!!!! Lost 2.4 lbs this week!!!! And....I used 31 of my WP this week!!! Must be something to boosting up your metabolism by eating enough!!!
My meals for yesterday:
Breakfast: Mon June 13 Day 1 Week 6
2 poached eggs,toast,cantaloups 1WP
Snack: pudding, cool whip 1WP
Lunch: BBQ chicken, cottage cheese
Snack: popcorn, baked oatmeal, cool whip 1WP
Dinner: pork & sauerkraut, beets, spinach
Snack: fried egg sandwich, 2 bread 1WP
8 water, 2 coffee, 4WP, Total 4WP

Well, think I am in trouble this week!
Have not been journalling here and have really been eating a lot. Keeping track on paper....but that isn't keeping me accountable.!! Eating out of boredom probably.....have had migraine for a few days....unfortunately....my brain thinks eating makes it better!!
Just weighed on my scale....up about 3 lbs!!
Better get back in control today!!!
Here are past 3 days journals:

Thurs 6/16 Day 4 WK 6 B scrambled eggs,cantaloupe,toast 1WP S cottage cheese, berries L Vegetable beef soup S ice cream bar, Peach 2WP D steak,potato,brussel sprouts,cole slaw S popcorn, WW bar 2WP water,coffee,diet soda,5WP,Total WP 19
This may not look too bad....but the portions were too big....the meals were not planned....too much snacking!!

Grrrr.....getting frustrated. Not feeling like Core is working for me right now. Getting tired of the obsession of what I am eating. Need to do something....not sure what.
Thinking about going back to first week journal and following it or something....I need to have a plan and then get busy with other things instead of focusing on eating.
Friday 6/17 Day 5 Week 6
Breakfast: 2 hardboiled eggs,cottage cheese, melon
Lunch: salad, HB eggs, Can. bacon, cottage cheese, stew (core)
Snack: cookie 1WP baked oatmeal
Dinner: Core chili
Snack: 1 cookie 1WP Baked oatmeal Hardboiled egg
8 water, coffee, 2 WP, Total 21 WPA
Scale shows up 2# with 2 days till weigh in. I think I will review my journals and try to do something...

Hang in there!!! I think you know what you need to do, so get busy! BTW....do you think the baked oatmeal is worth it? I know some people count it as Core, but the points do add up. Just curious...we all have to do things our own way. I'll bet it's beautiful living on a lake! Do you get much exercise walking out there? Not on the lake , of course, silly me, but around the lakeshore or somewhere? Have a great Core day, Marcia....enjoy the sunshine.......Jane

Good Morning everyone, Still hanging in there, have 2 herniated discs in neck that have flared up and causing constant pain. So frustrating...makes it really hard to stay on program. Doesn't eating cookies and comfort food help with pain? LOL....just kidding. Will be seeing the surgeon on Thurs and will probably give in to the surgery this time. I have postponed it for years...this time it is unbearable and therapy and Chiro are not relieving the pain....so guess this is what I need to do. Anyway, enough of that. Made it through yesterday....did have baked oatmeal...really is good cold. Decided to count 2 points for it...just doesn't seem right not to count something. Here goes:
Sat 6/18 Day 6 Wk 6
Breakfast omelette, toast, cantaloupe 1WP
Snack baked oatmeal 2WP
Lunch chicken salad, nectarine
Snack egg salad on lettuce
Dinner Baked chicken, potato, broccoli, cole slaw

Hi, Marcia.
I just read your message on my journal and thought I'd swing over here and see how you've been doing. Looks like you're on track now (wish I could say the same about myself).
Anyhoo, good luck on your weigh-in tomorrow. I'll be okay if I gain a bit again, but I really hope I don't. I guess the important thing is not to quit just because we've struggled a bit.
