Thanks. I needed that. I went to get weighed tonight and this was my 1st gain of 1lb. But I am ok....I know I had a hard week with being off and with the 4th of July picnics.

Thanks. I needed that. I went to get weighed tonight and this was my 1st gain of 1lb. But I am ok....I know I had a hard week with being off and with the 4th of July picnics. I worked a meeting last night and many of the clients had small gains or maintains. Life includes holidays and one day cannot ruin what we are doing.

Saturday was a big cook out so I just enjoyed myself
B = Egg Sandwich (1pt) L/D Hamburger on wheat bread, small amt. (TBL's) of pasta salad, regualar salad, green beans, baked beans etc. Just had one plate full then I had desert. Small piece of Pig Picken Cake and orange jello desert with pineapple, cream cheese, coolwhip. (points=too many) S = Klondie Bar
Sunday B = Poached Egg ( 2 eggs and 1 slice toast (1/2 pt) L = Salad S = Carbs smart fudge bar (2pts), strawberries, canteloupe D = Egg Salad Sandwich (1pt) and salad with shrimp in it. S = Puffed Wheat/Fiber one cereal

Monday July 11, 2005
B = Oatmeal S = fruit bowl (watermelon, canteloupe, grapes, strawberries). FF Pudding (2pts) L = Salad with Shrimp and ff Thousand Island 1/2 Cup a Soup (Brocoli/Cheese) (1pt), baked lays chips (4pts). S = 100 calorie oreos (3pts) D = Beans and corn bread---the beans were not done so I ended up having stir fry chicken and veg. And I overate...it was sooo good S = Puffed Wheat/Fiber One cereal
I did walk at lunch and also in the evening but I am just starving. I had way to many points (10). I have got to do better today.

Wednesday, July 13th.
Weigh in is tonight and I will just have to wait and see how I did. I don't think I have lost. Ate too much this week. But I am keeping positive attitude.
B = Fruit Bowl (watermelon, caneloupe, strawberries, grapes.
L = Salad w/ FF dressing went walking at lunch (30min)...boy is it hot out side. S = WW Choc. Cake (1pt) and 100 calorie oreo (2pts)
D = Thinking about a tomato sandwich for starters. I have been craving them. Did'nt have the sandwich. Ended up having cornbread and beans and they were great. But I ended up having a sandwich with crab meat. Ate way to much.
S = Puffed Wheat/Fiber One Cereal WW bar (2pts) 100 calorie chips ahoy (2pts)

Thursday, July 14th, B = SF/FF Latte from Starbucks. This was my first time their. Enjoyed it. My WW lady said it is core. Will also have some Oatmeal. S = Brought my fruit bowl L = Salad with egg and cheese and also brought a cucumber and tomato with ranch dressing (may have that as a snack). D = probably stir fry either shrimp or chicken. Ended up with the chicken. S = Puffed wheat/fiber one cereal 100 calorie chips ahoy (2pts) WW fudge bar (2 pts.)

When you eat your oatmeal for breakfast, how much do you eat? Do you measure it out or just eat as much as you want until you're full?

I buy the regular flavor Quaker Oatmeal meal that is in the packets. I have one of those for breakfast. I know everyone keeps telling me to buy a big box but it is easier. I reallllly had a rough weekend. For some reason I was craving icecream. I bought the 3pt icecream bars but I could not leave them alone. I can't believe it but I ate a whole box of them in one day, (6). I wrote down what all I ate but left my journal at home. I think this is what I had Saturday B = puffed wheat/fiber one cereal L = chicken salad from Bob Evans w/FF ranch D = Wheat Speg and 1 garlic bread S = 6 icecream bars (18pts) 100 calorie chips ahoy (2pts) Sunday B = English Muffin (wheat) L = Spinach Salad with Shrimp from Apple Bees D = Fish and greenbeans, corn on cob S = 1 slim a bear (3pts) and puffed wheat/fiber one cereal I am just going to start today doing better. This is the first big screw up since I started in January. I keep telling myself that I have lost 54lbs. but it seems now that everyone notices that I have lost that I am letting my guard down......that is bad because I need to lose more. I did go walking 2 miles last night. I have went from an 18 to size 14 but I am only 5ft tall and not even 170lbs yet. Still got more to lose. I also have a cookout to go to tonight so I have really got to make some good choices. So here is what I brought today:
Monday July 18th B = Oatmeal with wheat english muffin (2pts) S = Fruit bowl L = 8 wheat thin cracker and tuna/egg salad to go on the crackers. Green beans S - Ok had lunch now want a snack. Had WW choc. cake (1pt) and 100 Calorie Chips Ahoy (2pts). I have gotta stop D = cookout (not sure what she is having). Will update this tomorrow. Ok I ended up having a hotdog on a bun, 2T potato salad, veg and very little dip, canteloupe/watermelone, strawberries. 1/2 c Pasta salad.
S = came home and had my icecream bar since I skipped cake and icecream their and also had puffed wheat/fiber one cereal.

I feel terrible. Something I ate last night did not agree with me. Oh well....back to it today. Hope this is the last picnic for awhile.
