Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all the help! I have two questions and would be really grateful for any help (or, if this is not the appropriate board, for direction to the appropriate place to ask):
1) if I eat a core food that is only supposed to be eaten at meal time, but I eat it after my 3 meals have been exhausted, how do I count the points for that food in the planner? Today I ate a piece of salmon after eating my three meals, but when I add it using the planner, it adds it as a core food and doesn't count the points.
2) Is fat-free yogurt an anytime food, or only for the three mealtimes?
Thanks so much!

Hi all: I am also a newbie and have the same question - do I have to limit my snacks to the list of 6 which is very restrictive or can I snack on other core foods.
Thanks

Hi, all Newbies! Welcome and hope to see you around often! ;D If you are doing Core, the new Core snack rules say...only those snacks listed as Core are allowed in between meals. If you eat a piece of salmon in between, or even a hard-boiled egg... go to your Flex materials and find out how many points for those items and count them....that said I am an "old-school" Core girl and don't follow the new Core snack guidelines, but I'm Lifetime. To each her own...if you may binge or be tempted by higher-calorie Core foods as snacks, or have trouble eating until satisfaction or watching portion sizes...you may want to follow the Core plan verbatim as written until you have it down. This should take a month ... then you're an old pro and on your way! As with any lifestyle eating plan (I truly feel WW is not a diet), you need to make changes in your life and get used to them... you can do it! Hope this helped ... ask any questions you want!

Yes - definitely attend a meeting and get the new WW books - as of Dec. 10 the WW plans changed slightly so all the materials are new, including the points tracker.

Hi Everyone, Is this a site for people like me who according to BMI etc. are class as a healthy weight, but want to lose a bit? I have tried other sites, but everyone has dogged me out for wanting to lose weight.

Hi, I'm a newbie and I think this site is awesome, although it doesn't seem as though too many people post I've been doing core for about a month and I lost 12 lbs. I can't believe it because I usually lose very slowly. I just stopped in to say "Hi" and read the posts. Rosy in MA

Hi Rosy - welcome! Come over to the challenge board, that seems to be the most active place on this site. We moved to Chicago from Andover - where in MA are you?
Glad you're enjoying Core!

I LOVE all the cute graphics...I just go to the tech site to see what's there? And thanks for the welcome. I'm a life time member who lost all my weight on Flex but was ALWAYS hungry. I gained back 20 lbs and figured I'd try Core since my leader is a Core loser and looks great. I'm NOT hungry at all....
