I too am glad I stumbled onto this board.....I have it 'marked' I am YETAGAIN trying Core. I think I will scream if I keep track of another Point. They go soooooo fast. I am, well I have to start tomorrow (Friday) I just blew this evening, but we won't go there :-) My Biggest problem.......giving up the sweets I so love, but which are SO bad for me me. I am a lifetimer who has fallen far from grace, and I am ashamed. I want to be successful on Core, I really do. Any tips or advice is much appreciated. I welcome the help. I hope to be an active part of this ..... I am a Newbie, trying to find her way.... Any suggestions on what I think is the hardest part.....that Full/Satified thing :-)

Thanks for the Welcome Pookie...I have been at the Mind Over Platter board which seems like all morning....I have the day off today!! Such great reading there, thanks.
Oh, and I just LOVE your Avatar!! ;D Too cute!!
So far breakfast went well. I woke up starving...after a big ole 'treat' last night.....as well as a stomach ache....truely NOT worth it....
Breakfast was Plain Oatmeal and a Plum.....Fruit will be hard for me BUT I am going to do this...I have to learn to 'listen' to my body, and I will give the raisin theory a try, interesting, very interesting.....
So I am off, YetAgain

Thank you for the welcome. Been a WW for a while, but am starting Core today. What a great site this is. I remember having seen Kippy's name on the WW board a ways back.

Welcome to Core! Keep posting and let us know if you have questions. My best advice is to take it easy, learn the program (read your materials, read this site and also the WW website Core Plan Tip Exchange board), and don't give up.

Thanks for the warm welcome from everybody. I have been searching through Kippy's site here and there are some truly helpful boards.
tis great to know there are people like me out there!!
Here's an odd question....does the self-image of being fat ever go away? I used to dread looking at myself in department store mirrors. I have lost over 20 pounds withabout 10 to go but sometimes I still run by those mirrors in fear of how I look.
I know I look healthier, happier and curvy. BUT....when does this actually register? Maybe its better that I still see myself as overweight as this might keep me on maintenance longer??
Does anyone else have this problem too?

O.K. Stupid question but here goes.... Can I put FROZEN chicken breasts in a crockpot (using any number of wonderful sounding recipes) or do the breasts have to be thawed?

You can use frozen, you just have to adjust for the added cooking time. I usually thaw first in the microwave, but that's just so I can trim any excess fat off before cooking.

altho I have never done it, I believe I have read that many people do use them frozen. Try it!

I started core last Thursday, so far I love it. By blood sugar is good eating like this. I took me a few days to get the hang of it.

Hi and welcome, PK! One of the best non-scale victories for me has been good blood sugars. Even when I feel defeatist, I remember how good low (normal) blood sugar is for my entire body. Yay!
OK I have a question!!! Do ff cheese slices count as dairy or not? Even my leader wasn't sure on this one.
