OK so I recomitted to WW today. It was really really really hard. I cried on the way to the meeting (I can be an emotional nightmare sometimes!). It was scary going alone. The last two times I joined it was with a buddy, so this time was really 100% about me....for me...
After the intial nervousness I wound up loving my new leader. She spent about 20 minutes talking with me, despite being an "old pro". She gave a hell of a pep talk and really made me feel better - if thats possible - about gaining 20 lbs since my wedding in September. Thankfully I rejoined before I gained back the entire 40 llbs lost!
I cooked up a storm tonight - lots of Core goodies. I actually found myself missing all the healthy stuff when I went off the wagon and was looking forward to restarting tonight.
I'm excited to learn about the plan changes next week, its nice to mix things up a bit!
My menu for tomorrow:
Breakfast: WW smoothie made with soy milk and coffee Fritatta - eggs, ff cheese, potato & veggies
Lunch: Couscous, meatloaf and broccoli
Snack: Baked oatmeal made with blueberries and applesauce
Dinner: (eaten at job #2) Spicy chicken & veggie crockpot meal (nice & easy to transport & eat at my desk!)
Snack: (when I get home at 9) Not sure...hopefully my avocados will be ripe so I can make a crab & avo salad. No lettuce in the fridge (forgot to buy it) so I will be creative with my Core ingredients!

Welcome back Mello! Sounds like you have a great plan.
I went back to WW about 15 months ago after gaining 25 of 55 pounds back. It is a tough road to travel but now I am 30 pounds down and feel and look better than ever.
You can do it!!!
Have a great week. Join the holiday challenge if you want to, there are still a few more weeks left and it's such a supportive group there.

Mello, great to have you back home. Joining with a buddy is good, but I've learned over the years that joining WW by myself, is the best way for me. Then I can't blame or rely on anyone else. I'm glad that your leader is encouraging. Don't think about the past. This is a new start and you are strong. Take care Katie

Hello and welcome back! Don't know that we've met but I'm glad you're here!
I cried when I went to WW too (this is my first time). Dunno that it makes us emotional wrecks--I think there's so many issues tied into our bodies and self-perception and fear of failure that it amazes me when someone isn't emotional about it. I agree with girliepurple though--we are all buddies for each other here. You too! Welcome to the circle.

And this is why I love Kippy's. Thanks for your love, ladies!!!! I'm in Wayne...Cathy, we might be neighbors! I don't post on the WW board...other than "save" on a recipe that I like! Maybe there is another mello? hmm... Being back on plan is wonderful. I was nervous about sugar detox, but so far so good. I already feel so much healthier and happier. It was an insane...INSANE day at work. Normally I would ask someone to pick fast food or something up for me at lunch and scarf it down without thinking about it. Today I had my little tupperwares all ready to go, so when crisis struck and I couldn't leave my desk I still had a healthy meal waiting for me. It really brought a smile to my face. Baked oatmeal, how I have missed you!!!! Menu for Friday: Breakfast: WW Chocolate smoothie with coffee and soy milk Strawberries & yogurt (yum! had that this morning instead of eggs and it was so good) Lunch: Burger (no bun, duh), couscous & veggies Snack: Baked oatmeal only 1 job tomorrow....husband & I are going out to dinner and to look at all the pretty houses decorated for christmas. not sure where we will wind up for dinner, but you can bet I'll be on plan

i went to an office christmas party last night. it was for a company i worked for a few years ago. one of my good friends is still there and needed a date so i got to go. yay to free food and drinks. unfortunately in my attempt to stay core i passed on most of the food and just partook in the drink. oops. happy to report that i was the hit of the party and now have a lifetime invitation after my spirited cotton-eyed joe dance (in heels mind you!)
gotta love the holiday season!
breakfast: dh got me coffee at dunks - was way too sick to make it myself.
lunch: chicken burrito in a bowl (chicken breast, salsa, ff cheese nuked til' warm with ff sour cream on top). not sure if that was the best decision. we shall see how i'm feeling in 20 minutes.
dinner: planning on roasted chicken with veggies and quinoa

Today is December wha... ? Yikes! Christmas is almost here! I have so much to do...argh... Breakfast: Tiny little bit of a vanilla smoothie made with soy milk and peaches. Not a fan Fritatta - eggs, potatoes, spinach, ff cheddar Coffee w/ soy milk X 2 Lunch: Romaine lettuce w/ ff dressing Leftover grilled chicken w/ ww noodles Coffee w/ soy milk X 3 Dinner: Rest of leftovers that I didn't finish at lunch. It was a crazy hectic day at work...I hardly ate a thing and now I'm STARVING. I'm actually eating as I type. So not healthy. Will probably make some broccoli or spinach when I'm finished with my leftovers. Gotta get some more veggies in !
