Trying to strike a balance between my crazy life and eating healthy is tough. I packed fruit and a chicken & veggie dish to eat at job #2 but forgot to refrigerate it. I was starving and left early to go home and eat dinner. Ah well, best laid plans. Time to curl up with a book. Christmas cards will wait until tomorrow Breakfast: Fritatta Coffee w/ soy Lunch: Brown rice sushi (yay! i am seriously in love with this ShopRite. it rocks my world) Salad Dinner: Chicken stroganoff

Planning is the key. My DD also works 2 jobs and struggles with the same issues. Keep a couple re-freezeable ice packs in your freezer so they are ready to go. She relys on smart ones quite a bit. HIHO Katie

Still flying high on my loss I have SO MUCH energy it is ridiculous. I just got home and feel like I could run around and clean the apartment. Breakfast: 1/2 smoothie (Soy, peaches & banana). It was good but I was NOT feeling well today. Ugh. Too many veggies causing some serious gastrointestinal issues Lunch: Veggie mix & meatloaf Dinner: Brown rice sushi Only 1 cup of coffee today which is excellent for me. Now if I could just drink more water.....

Today is marathon cookie baking day. I have been going at it for about 4 hours and have 6 kinds baked and done so far. Only 5 more to go! (not to mention the other batches I have to make Tuesday night and next Saturday morning)
Its a good thing I love doing this.
Yesterday I ate:
Breakfast: Fritatta, coffee w/ soy
Lunch: Salad and veggie soup at Pizzeria Uno (can I tell you HOW hard it was not to get pizza?!?!)
Dinner: Shrimp cocktail, broiled sole, steamed veggies and baked potato
Sugar free vanilla soy latte
Today so far: Breakfast: Sugar free vanilla soy latte
Lunch: DH ran out to pick up food since there is no way cooking is happening in my kitchen right now! he got me a pound of shrimp cocktail. Yes. a pound! I ate about 1/4 and the rest is going into the fridge, lol
Dinner: I'm guessing I'll have shrimp cocktail, lol and was planning on grilled salmon w/ salad.

cookie madness day was exhausting! i crashed at midnight and DH was quite amused to come home from his poker game and find me sprawled out on the couch in my "baking clothes" complete covered in icing, flour, butter, sugar and sprinkles. i'm fairly certain there were sugarplums dancing in my head last night.
we're going to a family Christmas party today and since we're italian i know everything will be sauced, cheesed and/or fried. i have decided that although i just restarted last week, maintaining through the holidays is ok. i'm not going to go nuts, but i'm also not bringing tupperwares of core food. the point is to figure out how to fit all the holiday stuff into my life, not wedge a "diet" into the holidays.
if i indulge today i will keep the indulging in TODAY. tomorrow is back on plan.
Brunch: (got up at 11:30!) - scambled eggs w/ ff cheese and coffee w/ soy milk
Dinner:

grrr i'm sick
christmas was fun. ate a ton, so i'm sure i gained back the 3.2 i lost. ah well back to the beginning.
did my grocery order (i shop online & pick it up at the store). made sure to load up on core stuff again so i'm not tempted to make bad choices. it feels so good to be on plan and i hate how i feel after a "bad food bender".

HIHO! Welcome to a new year, a fresh start, and a clean page. Most important thing is that you're evaluating your choices and coming back to the plan!

Mello is back. I knew the holidays were going to be killer, plus we went to AZ for a week (got home yesterday). We had an amazing time despite having rotten head colds and falling asleep at 10pm on New Years Eve! (LOL, how romantic!)
Part of the reason behind the trip was to check out culinary schools for me. It took 10 years after graduation and a very supportive husband to convince me to follow my dreams. SO the super duper exciting news is.... I was accepted into the Arizona Culinary Institute! Yahoo! I start school in October. Yay! I am so so so so excited.
I'm trying to figure out how I can fit WW into school and my future professional environment. Restaurants (esp good ones) are not usually CORE friendly!
I missed 3 meetings, but am gearing up to jump back in on Wednesday.

Wow--CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
You can do it--I believe in you! And if this core vegetarian can navigate restaurants twice a month during school, you can too! Besides, who wants to eat when it's hot out--and it's always hot in AZ. ;D
Good for you for getting right back into the flow and wishing you a good meeting.
