It's Friday and it's Spring - my Kippy friends!! ;D Whoo hooo! Can you believe there was snow on the ground this morning, just a dusting, nothing on the roads...unbelieveable. But it is gone now! I hope you have a great weekend, stay as OP as you can. I'll try too.

Good morning!
So I lost .8 this morning... I was hoping to have lost the 1.4 I was up from last week but that's fine. Just keeping on plan and keeping active is about all I can do. We have no major plans this weekend so I should be able to stay on track and not use too many WPAs - which is good! I'd like to workout tomorrow morning since I typically do a boot camp class on Sunday mornings while Spencer is in Sunday School but they are doing a family event this time so I won't be working out. We are having friends over for lunch tomorrow but that is very manageable food-wise, maybe we'll grill or else bring in some salad stuff.
Found out this morning that my friend's Mom passed away, funeral is on Monday. Getting to that age where this will be more and more common. Although yesterday was my Mom's birthday, and she has been gone 10 years already. She died at 52, so it makes it hard for me when someone loses a parent that is in their 70s to not feel bitter because they had so much more time than I did. Anyway, that's my rant for the day.

Ladies- I was WAY, WAY, WAY off track this weekend. Today was the worst of it - with a big family party with really good pizza and outrageous cake. Rest of the weekend also challenging - Mexican on Friday night and some junk, etc. yesterday. Feel gross. YUCK. I have a funeral tomorrow so I'm not sure I will get a workout in but I'll do my best. Hope you guys had a good weekend and had a lot more self control than I did! -Beth

Ok Beth I am right there with you. School auction, two family dinners, desserts, etc. Stopped counting at some point and just enjoyed the food. BUT tomorrow back to counting. Back to exercise. It isn't screwing up once, it not refocusing and letting the slip turn into a long slide.
WI tomorrow too. Who knows how that will turn out? ugh!
Up 4 lbs. How quick was that!

I had 4 Girl Scout cookies last night and right now I'm eating a cupcake sized mini homemade cheesecake thing someone at work gave me ... TOM is looming, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I lost .2 at home yesterday, we'll see what tomorrow at WW WI brings...I'm drinking water and have exercised every day since Thursday... hang in there, friends!
Sorry to hear about your friend's Mom, ((Beth)) ...

Hey heyyyy... how's everybody doin', girls? Where are you?I had 3 mini chocolate pieces yesterday... TOM is here and that's my latest excuse. I did lose 1.6 at WW WI on Tues. Nothing is fitting differently, my jeans are tight... sigh ... I keep pluggin' on though. I've decided to shake up my exercise routine yet again. I try to Cathe Friedrich's Ab Hits most weekday mornings. I have been alternating with my Firm DVDs for years and started running Couch to 5K outside & on the treadmill 3x a week (mostly) since August. But I just bought from Amazon 2 Cathe F. DVDs for muscle toning/strength - 1 for chest/triceps and one for back/shoulders/biceps. I should get them next week, we'll see ... Hope you are both doing well!

Good to hear from you. I am not doing well this week at all - lots of personal stuff going on. Trying to have a "normal" day today. I am definitely in a funk. I am not going to weigh in tomorrow - may go to the meeting or may go spinning. I am having a hard time though.

I hear you about the funk. I am off plan. Not tracking! Not eating horribly but definitely not tracking and not paying too close attention. Shit. Why do I do this? I am so good and the I get beat down by one WI and just give up.
Beth: I am sorry your week is so hard. Hang in there.
Cathy: Congrats on your loss. Mixing it up is good. Maybe I need to do the same.

Sounds like we're all a little down .... well ya can't be upbeat all the time - sh*t happens so let's take it as it comes and move on!! This too shall pass. The first few weeks of a "restart /recommitment to healthy living" always seem to be filled with excitement and motivation, it's good to get a running start like that and it's also OK to slow down and have your plan fit a "normal" life routine. Let's not stop entirely though - OK girls? Promise?

How'd you do yesterday, Cyn?! How are you doing, Beth?! Today I am eating better than yesterday. Today I am starting a new strength exercise routine for my upper body. Today I promise - I will exercise the next 4 days in a row. Confession - I just ate about 8 Nonni cookies because I was hungry, felt weird, lost my personal folder on my hard drive, found it again - and I didn't pack a snack! I'm leaving work in 40 min., working out, having a correctly portioned dinner and going to bed!!

Hi there- Not doing too badly these days, although I'm not really tracking either. Just trying to eat well and keep portions down. Last night I made turkey cutlets that I marinated and baked - I ate just half and saved half to have for lunch today over a salad. Today I am going to try and do a 3 mile walk outside. It's cloudy but mild, in the 40s. I need to find my son's I-pod! Still have a lot of personal stuff going on, but trying to keep it in the back of my mind this week instead of in the front of my mind where it was last week. Hope you guys have a great day! -Beth
