If you have had a Core meal at a restaurant (especially a recognizable name restaurant), or have found a restaurant particularly amenable to making meals Core, or have a question over what might be Core, please share that here.

No restaurant meals on Core?
Come on people I know better than that.
Help everybody out here.
I can't do it, I only eat at local places and that isn't going to help anybody who doesn't live where I do!
SURELY somebody has figured out a way to get something Core at Ruby Tuesday or TGI Fridays or someplace like that.

Hello all!
Went to Outback Steakhouse this weekend and ordered:
Tossed Salad (no croutons or cheese) FF Italian Dressing
NY Strip with A1 sauce
Steamed Veggies
They are now also offering baked sweet potatoes as a side. (Wonderful with a dash of Splenda)

Here are a few in my area.....PS I eat out ALOT!!
Sonny's BBQ
chicken w/ skin removed
sweet potato-plain (add splenda if you wish)
corn on the cob
they also have a salad bar too....
Olive Garden-
As close to core as possible!
You can get any thing w/whole wheat pasta and it is pretty good. Then just count the point for the sauce, if you stick w/ a tomato base sauce it will be lower i ususally count about 3pts. They also have lowfat ranch and italian salad dressing, that is only 1pt! So you can get out spending only about 4pts if you avoid the bread sticks and wine!

Red Lobster:
Went there recently....
salad w/ff dressing (w/no crouton or cheese)
crab legs (don't use the drawn butter, you can use cocktail sauce though!)
baked potato plain (can ask for salsa)
Macaroni Grill I heard has whole wheat pasta, haven't been.
as i think of more i will let yall know!!

You know, I've been to Chili's in the past, where you can get a plain grilled chicken breast and steamed veggies. Was actually pretty good.

Rubios--forget the name of it, but they have a ff chicken salad that I believe even made the Core list--it is just lettuce, chicken and salsa--

Thai - stir fried veggies or Cashew Chicken minus the cashews with brown rice
Steak house - grilled chicken or steak cooked w/o fat, steamed veggies and baked potato (I bring my own Molly McButter)
Jack in the box - Santa Fe pita - I count the 2 pts. for the pita

We've eaten a couple of times at Tony Romas and they have been very willing to modify my meals. I had the top sirloin with steamed broccoli and plain baked potato. They also have some shrimp and fish choices that could be core.

I've had the sirloin at O'Charley's w/baked potato and large salad. I either count WPA for low fat dressing or take my own. I also use ff dressing on my BP's. Amazing but I like FF dressing on lots of stuff these days including a nice roast beef sandwich instead of mayo. I also mix horseradish with ff mayo and it's good on roast beef.

The Outback. My "standard" dinner there (we go there every Sunday night) is a little different from the one jellybeanz posted above. Mine is a small filet mignon (without the added butter that they add to their steaks -- you have to specify) plus a plain baked potato (or steamed veggies without butter) and a salad without cheese and croutons and with the fat-free tangy tomato dressing.

When eating out I take my own ff sf maple syrup for a baked sweet potato, or my own dressing for salad.

Ruby Tuesdays has a new section on their menu that serves fish and other meats with brown rice pilaf and steamed veggies. I'm sure you have to ask for no butter, etc. but you have to do that almost everywhere...they are actually pretty tasty.
