Olive Garden offers whole wheat pasta for some of their entrees. It varies by location though - call ahead. Their marinara sauce is core, with some whole wheat pasta & a salad - you're set :-)

I have eaten in many restaurants and I make them make my food core: I typically ask for a grilled fish (Salmon, Ahi Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Tilapia), I ask for steam veggies (no butter please), baked potato. I eat salads in restuarants with chicken breast or grilled shrimp with no sauce (I ask for balsamic viniger and olive oil and make my own sauce, I add lemon as well). if they have a ff dressing than this is what I ask for.
I was in macaroni grill and had grilled salmon with steamed veggies. wonderful. Chillis I had the fajitas chicken and shrimp. No sauces other than pico de gallo and no tortilla.

Had tilapia with vegetables roasted in a bag with no butter. Salad with oil and vinegar dressing. Should be all core. Very good.

Noodles and Company (I'm not sure if that's just in Wisconsin) has a whole wheat linguine that you can have in any of their dishes. I had the Japanese pan noodles made with no oil and the whole wheat pasta. I also added shriimp and the veggie trio, and it was delicious and Core!

I was at Legal Seafood recently, and they have a dish that consists of a tomato-based broth with shrimp & scallops, and they offer brown rice as part of their regular menu. Very tasty!!

Golden Corral in S. Fl. is probably the #1 Core friendly buffet you can eat at. They have a huge salad bar and a grill with most any kind of grielled meats, sometimes salmon and always have a great selection of fruits, potatoes both white and sweet and sugar free chocoltae pudding.
I love the fact that their brocooli and cauliflower is made with fresh vs. frozen veggies and I'm happy to say that I can resist the sweets and breads on the other side of the buffet which is far away from the good for ya foods.

Went to Max and Erma's today. I'm pretty sure that I order a Core meal. But, I'm new at this. :-) Anyway, I got their Caribbean Chicken lunch portion. It's chicken breast, marinated in pineapple soy, with pineapple salsa. It comes with steamed veggies and rice, but I substituted fresh fruit for the rice. Yummy!

I went to Olive Garden last night and had Minestrone soup (picked out the pasta), the grilled salmon, and ww pasta with marinara.
I counted 2 pts for the soup (just in case) and 2 for the marinara, although someone earlier said it was Core.
I looked in the book and marinara sauce was 2 pts and not marked Core - is their sauce actually Core (if so, happy dance!).

I've been going to Red Robin. They have a couple of choices that work well for core:
Burger wrapped in lettuce is a bun-free way to go. Served with side salad (don't forget to ask for no cheese on the salad).
Burger and greens is my favorite. It's a patty on top of a salad, topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions. Again, no bun.
Being a veg, I get a Boca or Garden burger and am totally happy!
