I think it would be fun to get some introductions going! Basically tell your WW stories (success and failure!) and a bit about yourself! ;D
I'll go first!
My name is Jennifer and I'm 31 year old SAHM a mom of a four year DS and 5 month old DD. I married to a wonderful husband that loves to take me out to eat!!! I did the WW program back six years ago and lost weight on the points system. After my second child - I decided enough was enough and it was time to do something! I truly enjoyed my pregnancy and ate everything in sight. I put on over 50 pounds. I just joined on December 28 and love CORE (so far!!)!! I'm hoping to lose at least 1 pound next week! I want to be healthy and happy. I want to chase after my children without working up a sweat. I want to enjoy my life again!
I like CORE because some of it I can implement with my family. I love the fact that everything is sugar free. My DS is wild enough, he doesn't need any more sugar! Also, I love veggies and milk!
I really enjoy the WW message board and this one is great too! I attend the traditional meetings on Tuesday nights because I need some accountability with the leaders.

Sounds good! This is off my cheesey website that isn't worth sharing. ;D
I joined WW in Hawaii for the second time January 7, 2000, at 250.5lbs. I lost 60 pounds over the next year and a half. I took it slow and enjoyed the journey. I continued to be social on the weekends and enjoy parties. I walked 5 miles a day, Monday through Friday with my good friend and neighbor. I ended up working at WW, helping in the office. It was the most rewarding job and the people around me were wonderful.
We moved to Mississippi in June 2001 and the weight slowly came back. There were no sidewalks. The produce was even worse than what was available in Hawaii. Worst of all, I no longer had my support system. By February 2002 I had gained 20lbs.
At that same time, I became pregnant with our first child. My pregnancy was uneventful and the weight gain was average. I delivered in October at 243lbs. I promptly lost all the baby weight and then some, putting me at about 208lbs.
When my daughter was six days old, my grandparents happened to be in the area on a senior's trip. The night they arrived in Mississippi, my grandfather had a stroke. He was hospitalized here for three weeks and the senior's trip left without them. On top of the anxiety over my grandfather's health, I was dealing with the life changing event of becoming a mother. The weight slowly came back.
Then, in March 2003, my husband deployed to the desert for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was emotionally spent and knew I was incapable of keeping a healthy mind, by myself with a new baby and with my husband in the middle of a war. I moved home to Michigan for six months, and gained all the weight I had lost back.
When I finally got my act together and joined WW AGAIN in May 2004, I was 251.6lbs and miserable. I now had a toddler to chase after. I didn't want to be a fat mommy. I had good intentions, but finding the time for ME wasn't easy.
We just recently moved back to Hawaii and I have all my old WW friends here as a support system. I make time for me a priority and have been devoted to the weight loss effort with renewed resolve. The driving force is Core. It's emphasis on whole foods is just right for me. I am using my desire to be at a healthier weight for pregnancy as one of my motivators. We are still unsure if another baby is right for our family. If we do make that decision, I want to be the healthiest I can be.

I'm Aruna, I'm 35 years old, married with a 15-month old baby girl, and I've been following the core plan for just over a month. I have always had problems with my weight, and had a love-hate relationship with WW since I was a little kid -- my well-meaning but misguided mother took me to a meeting when I was, like, 5!, but then it was the only way that I managed to lose 50 pounds in my early 20s. I gained it all back, slowly but surely, and then got pregnant. It wasn't the pregnancy that got me -- I lost all my baby weight, and then some, by about 6 wks postpartum -- but rather the stress of new motherhood. (I hear your pain, Melissa!) Anyway, I want to lose weight so that I can go swimming with my daughter next summer without feeling ridiculous in a bathing suit.
I love core, and I love the folks on the boards, and I really feel that I'll be able to do this for life! I've already lost 8 lbs since starting Nov. 29, and when I weigh in tomorrow, I'm hoping for more good news!

I'm a mom of three boys and a wife of a really nice workaholic!! We live in Michigan, but I was born and raised in California. I've been overweight pretty much my whole life, except for the few times I would go on an extreme diet and lose the weight, only to gain it back in a few months. I've done WW twice before now, but quit when I got frustrated losing those last 10 lbs. I got to goal following the Core plan in early December!! I started doing Core before it officially came out in August. I love the program and think it will allow me to once and for all keep the weight off for good!!! ) Monica

I am a SAHM, but substitute at my kids school also. I have been overweight all of my life. I started following WW when I was at 235 pounds and am currently at 161, my goal is 155. I switched to Core when it was released and have LOVED it from the beginning! I lose extremely slowly, and always have a TOM gain. I have currently lost 20 pounds following Core. This is a lifestyle change that I can really see following forever!

I'm Kathleen. I live in Southern California. I am in my late forties (yikes!) and am a lawyer. I live with my boyfriend and dog. I have no children.
I joined Weight Watchers in 2000, and had about 12 pounds to lose. I lost it and became a lifetime member. The weight slowly came back, and I tried losing it while doing on-line only, but was unsuccessful. I resumed meetings this summer, and got back to goal. I started core when it was introduced, because it eliminated a lot of the frustrations that I had when I was doing flex. I'm now back to goal and trying to maintain. I'm finding it a little difficult right now, not because of the holidays but because I recently changed jobs and am pretty sedentary at work.

I'm Barb, and I live in Minneapolis. I'm 41 years old and in the process of getting a divorce. I'm a Lifetime Member since 1987. Back then, I had to lose all of 10 lbs to reach my WW goal of 132. I maintained that for several years, and in the mid 1990's, I started gaining rapidly. I hit my all time high weight of 247 in the spring of 2001 and I knew I had to do something. I was dieting on my own for a bit, then joined WW Online when I was at 232. I lost consistently for about 8 months and got to about 175, and since then, I've stayed within a 15-lb range. At times, I think they only thing that has kept me from regaining more than 15 lbs is because I threw out my larger sized clothes. Usually I stabilized around 175 - 180 lbs, but this past month I've really eaten a lot and when I weighed in today, I was 189.5. I'd like to get down to 135.
When Core came out, I was adamantly against it, because I wanted the freedom that Flex offered. Last week, I decided to give Core a try. I did it for about 3 days and couldn't believe how much better I felt. Then for 3 days, I just didn't watch it at all, knowing full well that on New Year's Day, I'd recommit. So... here I am!
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better!!

Hi everyone - I'm Rita. I'm in my mid-50's and live in NY (Long Island). I'm a single parent of an 18 year old son and work in the wine importing business.
I'm an original Core beta-tester - my WW center was a test site for the program beginning in January 2003, so I have been doing Core since I joined a year ago and made lifetime on 12/22! Core is the best thing to happen to WW in my opinion - and apparently many of you share the same feelings. In all the previous times I have lost weight (on WW or any other plan) I have never reached my goal weight, so maintenance is new to me. But I really feel confident that I will be able to continue to eat the Core way and keep my weight under control.

I orginally lost 60 lbs with ww and made lifetime but I gained most of it back. I tried again last January but had no success. Then in Aug. I decided it was time to get healthier. I started back the day they introduced core and have been doing core every since. I have currently lost 25.5 lbs all on core.

Hi, I'm Crystal. I'm 24 years old and live in Los Angeles, California. I am a single mother of a funny, funny 4 year old. I am also a full-time college student and work full-time as an insurance agent. It's hectic! I have been overweight my entire life, really. I am 5'3 and weigh 162 right now. I was up to 212 pounds when I decided to do something about it. I lost 60 pounds on my own by eating no more than 1500 calories per day. I have since gained 10-15 pounds back. I joined WW for support and to finish losing these extra 35-40 pounds I have on me. I love the WW boards and now this. You are all an inspiration and make me literally laugh out loud sometimes. Thanks for it all!

Hello I'm Josephine and I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have struggled with control over my weight my entire life. I was able to maintain a healthy weight of 160 for four years prior to meeting my husband. I gained 50 pounds in the first three years of marriage. After many failed attempts to regain control I joined Weight Watchers in August 2003. After much journaling and counting I took a break in the summer of 2004. In the fall I rejoined and began the Core Plan, and absolutely love it! I lost 28.4 pounds on my way to my health 160 again. This time I know it will be for life.
I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you all.

Well I'm Kippy ;D It's a family nickname, my real name is Kathleen. I'm 53, menopausal, hypothyroid and a couch potato. I lose weight exceedingly slowly (although it's stepped up with Core) and I have a lot of weight to lose (can we say out-of-control, anybody?) Basically I gained 10 lbs a year between Thanksgiving and Christmas and forgave myself each year instead of doing something about it because it was "only 10 more lbs". Do that for 10 years and ... well ... you do the math. Do it for fifteen. Do it for twenty. DUH!!!!!! I'm far healthier than I have any right to be ... no diabetes , no high blood pressure ,no heart issues even though I weigh more than 100 lbs over my goal. I live in the suburbs of Atlanta with my DH and my disabled, dependent sister and moved here in 1993 from the DC area. My beautiful (and tiny 105 lb) daughter and my tall handsome son each live within a few miles of me and I get to see them at least weekly. We have a very tight relationship. I love all things Southern including Southern cooking (unfortunately) but I don't have an accent And I adore Core. As you know

Hi! I am Susie I am 36 and a SAHM with 3 children DS-7, DS-4, and DD-21 months. I gained 15 lbs right after I got married b/c I thought I could eat as much as my husband. I gained 50 lbs with my first pregnancy and lost it all following Winning Points on my own. I gained less with my 2nd but never lost the last 15 lbs, stressful job at the time and 2 kids! I was 30 lbs overweight when I got pregnant with our 3rd and I now have 3 lbs left to lose from that pregnancy. I tend to lose, stop going to meetings and gain.
I love knowing points and I learned a lot about portion size and low point substitutions, but I didn't always make the best choices I tended to save my points for ice-cream and chips rather than eating a 2 point bananna!! I am still a little new to Core, but LOVE it. I have learned so much from the message boards and I hope to have some recipes to share with all of you.
Thanks Kippy for getting this up and running, very impressive!!
P.S. I have to learn how to make my name look pretty and have all the decorations you guys have, I guess I'm not that clever.
