Anyone care to share?
I used a point for real sugar in my Cream of Wheat, I'm having a core split pea and ham soup for lunch, and dinner will be roast pork loin with oven roasted asparagus and potatoes. Fruit for snacks, if I have popcorn it will be sprayed with EVOO out of my mister and sprinkled with salt, and I will either put real sugar in my latte or have a glass of milk instead.

Sunday 2/6 Breakfast: Oatmeal with little soy milk Iced tea (My a.m. staple--I have lots of ice, 1/4 tea and rest is h20, but didn't add the usual sweet & low)
Lunch--Greek Diner--salad with avocado and plain tuna, oil and squeeze of lemon (too much, took home half for tomorow's lunch!!)
Snack: plain soy yogurt with 1/2 banana mixed in (don't do cow's milk products)
Dinner: Core turkey chili; core pasta; green beans
Super bowl Snack--brown-bag micro. popcorn(like air-popped); frozen cantelope chunks

Aruna,
That mister that you use for EVOO - is it something that is designed specifically for spraying oil? Where could I buy one? (Another link for Kippy's shop maybe?)

It's called a "Misto" and it's pretty readily available -- Bed Bath and Beyond has it, and even my (admittedly very well-stocked) supermarket carries it. It's great -- you put your regular olive oil in it, pump it with the lid, and it sprays out like an aerosol sprayer!

Hey guys. This is a great thread, but wouldn't you be better off putting this in your journals?

Oh, I love it! Thanks for letting me see what you are doing with the REAL foods. I am excited to do it this week. How will I know whose journal to read?
Who is doing the REAL food challenge?

I AM!!!I AM!!!! But I'm afraid you won't get much inspiration from my meals. I'm not a very inventive cook. Everything plain and real and if I can mix it all together I will!!

Hello all you "real foodies." How did your week go? I've been trying to keep up with everyone through their journals but I may have missed a few.
Does anyone have any general observations or success stories to share at this point? And is this the proper thread in which to do that, or should we just keep writing in our journals?
I'm really enjoying this challenge and hope we can keep it going for a while.
