Hi all- I'm glad to see everyone posting here! I am finally feeling better after a trip to the doctor last Friday. It took me 2 full weeks to shake this! It ended up being a sinus infection. After following doctor's orders for the weekend I am feeling great. I exercised on Sunday morning for the first time in awhile. Today and tomorrow I will try and get in a nice walk since the weather is so great here. This week I will WI on Thursday morning and try to make the spin class at my new gym on Friday morning. I haven't gone spinning in a long, long while.

Where is everyone???
I weighed in today and was up .8 since my last WI 2 weeks ago, although at my last WI I was sick so that could have accounted for that loss. In any case - I am well within my 2 pound goal weight so I'm fine with it. I am having a real challenge fitting in exercising these days. Hopefully after we get back from our Thanksgiving trip I can do a little more.

Here I am ... up 1 lb. from last week... Wed. was WI but we had our office turkey luncheon that day and I did eat it... I'm hoping it was the salt in the food because my jeans are fitting me better. Go figure. Also I haven't been able to get back into exercise like I want, but I will soon. Other than that...the challenge is going great for me! ;D Hope everyone is doing well and will post before the holiday! HIHO!

Happy Day After Ladies! How did everyone do? I had some intimate moments with nacho dip and chips and also cranberry/orange bread. The meal itself I did okay - by the time we sat down I wasn't even hungry anymore! And I had dessert too. Oh well - moving on, moving on. I really need to get back into exercising! I've really slacked off the last two months. I need to get that back on the top of my priority list.
Anyway - we're still in NJ (waving hi to you Cathy!!) and we head home tomorrow night. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

I've been away from the boards forever, but checking in sporadically on everyone's progress. Hope you all had a terrific holiday. I want in on this challenge..... I'm hoping to just maintain the 4-lb loss I had from being on meds when I hurt my neck in October (a herniated disk).

Can you get AP's just for running around like a lunatic??? My weeks have been crazy - I've got a to-do list a mile long and I'm getting more into my two part-time jobs. Chanukah starts next week - pretty unbelievable.

I stayed the same at WI last night, I guess I can't ask for more with the holidays. I made it a 1 meal holiday and got some walking in shopping...that's about it. So I can't/won't complain!

Hello Everyone,
I have been away for a long time but it is nice to see so many familiar faces. I rejoined WW online and have been doing points. It seems to be working since I lost 5 lbs in the first week and most importantly am sticking with it for the second week!
It is interesting doing points after so long working with core. Frankly I mostly eat core but somehow tracking is keeping me honest and making me focus on portion size and how much I snack.

Yeah it feels good to be focused and frankly it isn't that hard this time. I guess I just get in the mood and after it being hard for a year and a half my brain does a shift and suddenly I can focus. How are you doing?

Well I'm doing OK ... how is everyone today?!
I have to get back to journaling ... I haven't been eating bad but not great, and my exercising has gone by the wayside, very sporadic. Plus this time of year my mind seems to be thinking...I'll get totally back on track in January. No... I need to do it now! Why should the holidays be any different from any other time of year? Last week at my meeting we talked about how many holidays there really are throughout the year, if you include birthdays and other family gatherings. It's like 1/3 of the year! So no excuses! I feel semi-focused, if that makes sense, and I want to get back into the groove again.

Happy Chanukah to all who are celebrating tonight! I can't believe it is Chanukah, frankly. The fall has absolutely flown by.
I hear you Cathy - I have not journaled since early October and I really need to get back to it. My exercise has also been sporadic. The next few Wednesday evenings I've signed up for a Women on Weights class at the gym which is at least something. I knew this time of year would be crazy busy - so I am happy to be maintaining. Next week I'll need to kick it into gear a bit to get my December weigh in done! Otherwise I'm not going to be too hard on myself until January.
The good news is - come January I think I will finally have somewhat of a routine again! The last few months I've been crazy busy and all over the place.
It's snowing here - we're expecting 3-6 inches tonight. WINTER IS HERE!!
