Hi everybody! I'm old to WW but newish to core. I have lost 65 lbs with points and kept it off for a few years now. I've really been struggling to get to my personal goal (10 more lbs) and also to maintain without starving. I work out quite a bit and also am dedicated to my yoga practice. I had just a few trip ups my first week of Core (I'm still sort of mentally logging points just for the sake of comfort. Heck. I've been counting pts for 5+ years now.). Anyway, I lost 1.4 my first week. That's REALLY good for me. I also am feeling so much more satisfied and not wanting to binge out on bread. Yea! I live in Phx with my partner, Jackie, who so far has liked my new core recipes. I just wanted to introduce myself. I, hopefully, will be hanging out here more often. -Christine

Hello and welcome, Christine! Glad you're here.
I know our bodies get used to food and just switching the program can be a boost to weight loss. But I am prejudiced toward core and don't ever want to switch. For me, it was the "can I do this as a way of life" question. I do NOT want to worry about points and portions for the rest of my life,
In any case, I'm looking forward to seeing how you feel about core after a few more weeks of it--keep posting, k?

Congratulations on your successful weight loss and maintainence. And welcome to Core. Like Night said, this is an "I can do this for life" program. 1.4 is a fantastic loss for the first week. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Katie
