Grains? Polenta? Once a day rules? What the heck......? This is a place where you can ask any question you want about the Core Plan, without fear of mocking or nasty replies! So ask away, no flame suits needed

yeah, this board is slower than the other. But at least the answers stay put and don't roll off the page into oblivion so the same question must be answered over and over again.

Thanks for the welcome! I've just re-joined WW this past week and thought I'd give CORE another try (tried it for a week when it first came out). This site looks very helpful. I've always counted points, so I'm learning what is CORE and what is not CORE. I'm glad there are people here who can answer any questions I might have. Thanks! Aimee

Good Morning everybody and Welcome to all the Newbies! I just caught sight of this group and think it's a great idea--whoever thought it up. I'll try to check back and share what I know. Also...reposting from the general board: We've got a nice group helping each other along....setting our own goals to try to reach for Valentine's Day and basically having a mini-meeting every day! Fun and motivating.
All are invited!
(Go to "Challenge Central" to find us.)

Hi Pookie! I have welcomed reading your Core posts both at WW and here! It helps to have someone to refer to when you are a newbie. I began core in the summer and did well. Then I decided a cheater bite here and there wouldn't hurt. Guess what??? IT HURT! I gained it ALL back and then some! Cheating is temporary satisfaction only. I want the real thing. Core gives me self control. It takes the craving away. Its awesome! I have 2 questions though. The first is: Does eating too many servings of beans stall your weight loss? The second: Does too Much FF cheese hurt? Take Care, Carly

I have 2 questions though. The first is: Does eating too many servings of beans stall your weight loss? The second: Does too Much FF cheese hurt? Take Care, Carly Carly - Welcome! Too much of anything food will stall your weight loss. If you're eating lots of cheese and beans and not having good results, you might want to try eating more fruits and vegetables. Remember, calories still count, so if you're eating foods that are higher calorie you may not get the results you want. Also, I think that a well-balanced diet helps with weight loss, too, but that's just my opinion. I try to eat a variety of foods over the course of the week. Finally, make sure you are following the 8 healthy guidelines. If you are eating lots of beans and cheese, are you neglecting other food groups? It's hard to get back on track. I know I'm struggling myself. Good luck! ;D
