Jane and Kate: It's really interesting I stumbled onto this question the first time I have gotten onto this board and just when I have recommitted myself to working Core.
I started at 204 and haven't been at the WW goal of 155 since 20 somethings. I too have large frame and heavy bones. I am long waisted and short legs. Doctor wasn't receptive to my stopping at a higher weight and didn't write me a note. She did say, however, that an additional 10 pounds for people who tend have trouble keeping the weight off once they have lost it, was better than yo-yoing. I got to the 161 and have gained back 7 pounds because I have been moving and have not been working the program for the last 2 months.
I have belonged to WW numerous times over the past 35 years and never gotten to goal. My personal goal dropped from 175 to 165 and when I got to 161 I decided to keep going and see if I could get to the WW goal. I'm getting back onto the WW boards and will get on this site frequently and hopefully this will be the year to get to goal and lifetime.
