As some of you know by now, I've been essentially on a plateau for a little over a year (since returning to WW 4 weeks after having my youngest baby). I finally got my act together and started exercising again in the last week of December, in hopes of finally getting off this plateau and back to goal. My weight hasn't budged too much in three months, but boy, oh, boy, has the tape measure moved. Tonight DH commented on the fact that I was losing weight again . I have lost a few lbs, but not anything dramatic. My clothes are fitting better, but it's got to be a pretty dramatic change for DH to notice. I got re-measured today at Curves and here's the story: Since December 29th (that's 3 months) I've lost: 1.5 in the bust (though part of that is DS gradually weaning) 3.5 in the waist 6 (!!!) in the abdomen 5.5 (!!!!) in the hips 2 in the thighs calves are a smidge bigger, but very toned arms are a smidge bigger, and could be more toned AND my % body fat is down 2.2% (still not in the good range, but progress, without at doubt). Definitely what I needed today to keep my motivation up coming off my 17 point WPA deficit weekend. I've had 2 successful days of not eating anything off the Core Foods List, and getting at least 2 AP's. Two more to go until WI and starting a new week. I will only get a walk in for AP's tomorrow (and it will be with my 7 year old son, so it won't be too brisk) and no AP's on Thursday.

WOW! That just shows that the scale is only one was to gage weight loss. Congratulations.

First, way to go! Second, thank you for the reminder about measuring and the importance of exercising! I keep meaning to measure myself, but haven't. I also have lost all of my weight with no workout plan and I keep telling myself to get going!
