I posted this on the WW board a couple of weeks ago, so I apologize in advance if you already responded to it. I reached Lifetime on Flex (Nov.). I have wanted to switch to Core to "go for" my personal goal. I decided to ease into it. Already I was doing Flex and eating from the Core list. I was at 20 points/day and even with more filling foods, I was starving. I don't understand this as I managed while losing on Flex. Also, I was eating all or at least most of my WPA each week. At first, I was obsessing like crazy over food/points/etc. I finally decided to quit counting and "go for it". I am still weighing/measuring/journaling in order to be careful about portion, etc. I honestly feel I have a handle on "satisfied". The problem is that I have gained 1.5 lbs. since I quit counting points. One thing is that I can not exercise right now, but that has been the case for about 6 weeks. This has been about 2 weeks. My gut feeling is to hang in there, but I am inching my way back to my goal weight when I want to go the other way. Did anyone here just start Core to get to their personal goal? Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been lifetime for about 4 years so a large part of that period has been on flex. I'm still within my WW lifetime range but that's 5 pounds over my personal goal. The only way I can lose now is if I exercise. That may be your problem. It doesn't surprise me that you were okay the first four weeks. If not exercising caused your body to have 100 extra calories a day to store, you wouldn't see that pound until you had 3500 calories extra in total, which would take about a month. Or it might not be a fat gain at all. Maybe it's fluid. Also, with your intense focus on how much you are eating, is it possible that you are not eating enough? Finally, are you sure your personal goal still is realistic for your age/body type? Have you ever been that weight, and if so, how old were you then and what was your lifestyle like?
