Greetings PreChas I've been staying on track with 3 weekly strength workouts and 5 cardio. Today will be my last visit to the gym until after vacation. I'm sure I'll get in a lot of activity in Hawaii and I'll report in when I get back. Yesterday, I made a plan with my trainer for a new lifting schedule. We're going to take it up a notch after vacation. He claims I have good enough form to compete... someday. We'll see about that. At any rate, I'm looking forward to a tougher regimen. Keep moving, everyone. All those PreCha points represent burned fat.

Back from Hawaii and I earned a lot of points while on vacation. Too bad I ate a lot of points, too....

Welcome back, Becky! Hey... earning activity points and precha points is so we can eat! Was Hawaii a little slice of paradise??
I'm exercising diigently but will need to take a while to transcribe my journal into precha points to see where I am for the may goal. still planning to stay with in for june...i have a silver medal to earn!

Looks like I'll hit my May goal of 10000 points. I'm suddenly feeling very motivated and that's a good thing. Today: 1 hour lifting, 30 minutes of intervals on treadmill.

Hey everyone! I took a month off the PreCha Challenge. I'm back, but I don't see a June thread started, so I will post here until I see one.
I have started The Firm. Hopefully I will figure points appropriately. I'm not sure what category to put ab work in, but I'm sure it will work out! If I keep up the rotation I'm doing it looks Like I will blow my goal out of the water. Wish me luck!

I'm still here! I log all my workouts on the Pre Cha site, but I don't post here much, because I'm doing very well with my exercise plan. (I need more support around my eating!!)
I'm working on my gold award now. Mostly biking and spinning classes, and about a month ago I started weight training.
Good luck with the Firm. There is a woman on the 100+ board who swears by it - so much so that she's been in some of their commercials. She looks terrific.

Kathy,
Your stats are great! I keep doing the Firm, but I'm having trouble with my eating too. I need to get my husband on board, that would help. His sister (very overweight) is having some serious health issues so I hope he gets motivated to get healthier.

My activity is the best thing I've got going, right now, too. I've been following a plan that I really like.
Mon, Wed, Fri: 30 minutes cardio, 60 minutes lifting (with trainer on M & W). Tue & Sat: 60+ minutes cardio Thurs: rest or cardio Sun: rest or cardio
I'm seeing steady progress on my workout log, so I'm not too stressed over my weight loss being so slow.
