At my meeting this week, I noticed three WW exercise tapes for low, medium and high intensity respectively. They were only $5!
Has anyone tried 'em? Use 'em? Like 'em?

I have the high intensity one. I used it a lot before I moved into a tiny apartment. It was worth 4 activity points for the 30 minute workout, so it was worthwhile. For 5 bucks, I'd buy it.
I started by going to the library and checking out tapes and DVDs, then buying the ones I like. One I really like (and was hard to find) is The Firm: Interval Training. It is a tough workout that I never got tired of. If I had more room, I'd do it a few times a week. It's a challenging mix of cardio and strength training. It lasts about an hour and I counted it as 6 APs.

Thanks, Becky. I'll look for it on line this week. I'd like more help with strength training exercises.

I also love the Firm workouts (especially the older, "Classic" Firm tapes/DVDs) for strength training at home. One that I love is the Firm "Tortoise" workout. You need a high step (or the Firm Fanny builder), some free weights, and a barbell. I got the equipment I needed at Target. Anyway, it's IMO well worth the $. It is a good cardio and strength training workout, also about 60 minutes long. Just wanted to give you that recommendation, in case you have trouble finding the other one, or want to have a couple to mix things up.
IMO (and this is just my opinion for what it's worth), the WW tapes are not adequate for anyone who's an intermediate or advanced exerciser (if you've been working on your fitness for 4 to 6 months or more). They're good for beginners and those transitioning to being "intermediate," but that's about it.

Thanks for the tips, Hipmom, I'll check out that Firm stuff today. So far I've been walking and using my bellydance tapes. I'd like to reward myself with new tapes instead of food for everything!
