;D Yesterday I went lap swimming in the morning! I was so nervous/excited that I actually popped awake a full hour before my alarm was set to go off which meant that I lay in bed awake at 5 am. I almost turned around and left when I saw the olympic swim team there swimming laps! lol Of course I'm kidding but the 4 people that were already there were FAST and intimidating! I went to the deeper pool where there was nobody and swam at my own pace alone. The hardest part was walking from the locker room past the lifegaurds and the other swimmers in my BATHING SUIT with out dying. Anyway, I made it, swam for 35 minutes (harder than I thought it would be!) and went home to get the girls ready for school! I'm actually excited about going again tomorrow. Starting Core and wearing a swimsuit in public, all in the same day. *sigh* Never thought I had it in me! lol

Good for you. What a great way to exercise.
I learned how to swim two year ago and went regularly for a while. With a toddler now, it's difficult to find the time. I commend you for being able to go so early in the morning.

I'm a fish! I love swimming. I was mixing up my laps with some deep water cardio stuff. There's a great site here: www.hydrofit.com/search/moves/list_moves.html that will give you some great exercises to try!
A couple of weeks ago I just happened to catch the last half of a deep water aerobics class and it was so great that I've become a regular. FAB cardio workout and so much fun! If you get sweaty, you just duck under water for a minute.
