Hi, Challengers! Check in and let us know how you did for the month of May! Did everyone meet your goal for monthly points? If so, give yourself a loud hooray! If not, know that any points you earned represent calories burned, muscles toned, heart/lung capacity improved, and overall wellbeing increased! So hats are off to everyone!
Please post your goal for the month of June, and tell us how you're going to get there.
Me: I want to earn 8000 points in June. I'm going to wear my pedometer more, and also crank up my cardio workouts a bit. I want to do more 60 minute workouts (lately I've been slacking a bit - doing more of the 45s). I also want to complete my 100 abs a day challenge - 3000 in June!

Well, I finished May with 6261, so I beat my 5000 guesstimate by a significant margin. I think for June I'm going to aim for 7000. I slacked off the last week of May, so it should be easy to hit the goal for June.
Goal within a Goal -- I'm going to aim for more of the formal 45 minute workouts. All of my tapes are 30 minutes, so I barely met the requirements some days.

I finished May very well, with 8273 points. My goal was 8000. I just looked at my results from June of last year and I did 7250, so I'll set this year's goal at 8000.
I just tried a "Cardio Coach" CD yesterday while on stationary bike. It's a guided workout suitable for any cardio machine. I really liked it. It will keep me going until I get the running "kinks" worked out of my hip and knee.

After today's cardio workout, I have 3974 points. I'm nearly halfway to my June goal of 8000 points and not yet halfway through June. Looking good so far.

Well, I'm halfway to my goal so that's something! 3511 pts. so far. Goal shouldn't be hard to reach with vacation coming up! Long hikes on the beach sound like a great way to rack up points! On another note, I was originally just trying for an active lifestyle award. I had two more weeks left in the 8 weeks allotted, and it informed me I wouldn't be able to reach my goal before June 28 and do I want to reset. Not thinking, I reset. And then I had to reset again, and again...so now I'm trying for the bronze award instead. So much easier! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Looks like I'll easily make my June goal. Yesterday, I had a solid hour strength workout with a trainer and my cardio sessions have been getting longer and harder. It's showing on the scale: lost 3 pounds last week without trying. My points so far this month: 5556.
How's everyone else doing?

We'll I'm finally back on track.... I started out May with such good intentions....then got a new treadmill, just had to try and move it on my own and tweaked my back - good- ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) So now that it has healed I'mm off and running, I restarted my pres. challenge and I'll make my goal 3000 again. I did it! I know, I techinically have one more day, but I went over last night and I'm rather excited!
Not counting whatever I'll do today, I just logged 7081 pts. Only 7400 left for my Bronze Award!

Well, I finished June with 8235, a little over my goal. I was surprised I finished so well, with a few minor emergencies going on. I'm closing in on my second gold award; I'm at 63,925.
During July of last year, I earned 6974 points, so I should have no trouble improving on that. I'll set a goal of 8000 again and see how it goes. I'm trying to get more swimming in this month.
