If I use the weighted balls for the WATP videos, do I have to wait a day before doing another toning workout? Or are they smalle enough weight that it doesn't matter?

This is my personal opinion, not sure about "official" recommendations.
I normally use hand weights when I do the WATP workouts and don't weight a day. I don't think they are heavy enough to worry about it.
I do my strength training with heavier weights every other day.

they are right around 2 lbs. I use them even if I am doing an exercise dvd that doesn't call for them. Vivian

I would say it's okay if the weights are light enough that there is no soreness the next day. It's my opinion that if you're sore, then the weights are too heavy to be used while walking. There are mixed opinions about using hand or ankle weights during cardio activities. There is some risk of injury, especially for beginners, so it's wise to start out really light and work up very slowly.
WATP is a great program and the weighted balls really add to the intensity. I have two of the tapes. I just think that strength training and cardio training shouldn't overlap too much...except for the really athletic types.
JMO. Whatever activity you choose, if you like it, you'll keep doing it.
