And I'm going to win!! Had a battle yesterday and lost, but I won today's battle. Kippy says (and I believe her) that if I can win all the battles for the next few days, I'll have pretty much won the war. Sometimes the cravings are so strong, I can hardly think. All that's going through my mind is "I need sugar! How can I get sugar!" And since I've cleared my house of treats, it takes a little bit of creativity. Yesterday, when I lost the battle, I ended up having oatmeal loaded with brown sugar. Today, I was craving again. I was out running errands and could only think about all the drive throughs I could go through. Dunkin Donuts, Dairy Queen, etc. So I headed the car home and had some peaches. Yeah!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I'm putting a notebook on the kitchen counter and when I find myself in the kitchen thinking "sugar, sugar" I'll pick up the notebook and journal. Hopefully, that will give my brain a chance to get in gear and remind me of what I REALLY want. Hope y'all don't mind, but I'm also going to post here about how I'm doing. I think it will help. I want this so bad! And I'm going to win this war!!

Repeat after me: Sugar only makes it worse...
You'll win; it just takes practice. I'm only into day 7 being sugar-free (again) and it gets easier every day.

Hey!! I just found the journal board. I think that's where this really belongs. I'm going to start one there and I can journal my victory against the sugar monster.......
