Hi, Kippy and Pookie -- I was thinkin' it would be fun to do another recipe challenge. The last one got some great stuff up on the board and encouraged us all to think about "Core-ifying" our fave recipes and/or spying new Core recipes to keep us from getting in food ruts.
I was thinking it might be fun to have a themed recipe challenge. Who can post the most recipes for a barbecue. Or who can post the most recipes using ingredient X (something Core and "exotic" like quinoa or, gasp, polenta or wheatberries). Or who can post the most recipes derived from the cuisine of country Y (India, Mexico, France, Ethiopia, etc.).
Yours truly, a Core-bie with not much else to do but think up obscure suggestions today. . .

Just thought I would second this suggestion. I wasn't here for the last challenge, so I would be interested in getting involved in a new one! C

I agree. I think it's time for a new challenge. The number of new recipes posted has definitely dwindled and one of the things that keeps me excited about CORE is trying out new recipes.

I third the suggestion. I'm a newbie and could use a challenge (although sticking to program seems challenge enough right now!)
