Hey All, I start core on sunday I am soo looking forward to it, I will start posting my journals here so please feel free to stop in and let me know how I am doing, I have been a ww member for bout 2 years have lost 55 lbs on the flex plan and am a lifetime member, I decided to give core a try to switch it up a bit plus I think I have gained control of portions well enough that I think I can do this. It's exciting for me cause I really feel I am restarting the plan in a way learning new things. This site is great I have been looking at all the great stuff on here. I would like to lose the 10 lbs I gained over the holidays then start to maintain again. So sunday I will start by posting here looking forward to getting to know you all

Starting fresh.... as a complete Core "loser" it's exciting to see a new person jump on the band wagon and be excited on the plan. I'm excited for you too. Just a little history. I joined WW in October 2004. Shortly after the Core plan was unveiled. I had talked with a friend who knew someone that had told her just a little bit about Core. I KNEW before I even went to the first meeting that Core was for me. I love veggies of all kinds, fruit, lean meat, and fish. I love trying new fresh foods...I HATE to count. Core...perfect for me. Over the course of the next 9 months, I lost 70lbs to reach my Dr. perscribed weight, and then decided to lose an additional 10 just for me, for a total of 80lbs. I have now been lifetime for just over 1.5 years and have maintained very well. I still go to meetings almost every week. I know if I don't I'll start that slow steady gain. I don't ever want to have 80lbs to lose again. Core ROCKS My personal opinion is that they should make Core their primary plan and have flex available if necessary lol Congratulations on your decision to live Core Katie

Hey Katherine!
Welcome to this place. It really is faboo!!
Thanks for the solidarity on the ice cream situation! I'm with you... more than happy to just have one of the 1 Point WW giant fudge bars. But give me a carton and, as TOny Sporano would say fuggeddaboutit! A little thing I do with the bars, btw, is to microwave some frozen cherries or blueberries till they get a little melty-saucy and the pull the fudge bar off the stick and dump it over the fruit... it's like Cherry Garcia... sort of!
Keep up your excellent work... and even if you miss a beat, stick around... these women are the BOMB!! at supporting thru the good and not so good times!!

Hi Katherine,
I'm a dance professor. So having a leg injury is an unbelievable pain in the .... I'm in the midst of choreographing a large modern dance piece for my own concert and also the choreographer for an Opera so my timing is quite terrible, aches and pains-wise! Not to mention teaching my regular courses... oy
How do you spend your time??
