I'm back! This time, not merely for my physical health, but also for my mental health.
B'fast: venti ff latté
Lunch: black bean soup, ff sour cream, sliced peaches
Snack: banana, popcorn, 1 oz. ham, stilton and crackers (3.5 pts)
Dinner: orange and red onion salad (1.5 tsp EVOO), ww pasta with bolognese sauce (.5 tsp EVOO) and parmesan (.5 pt), mandarin oranges
F/V: xxxxxx Dairy: xx EVOO: 2 tsp
AP's earned: 2 WPA's: 4-2=2, which leaves 33 for the week

Thursday, March 16
Dinner out tonight with friends, and potentially lunch out, too. Which means I'm going to have to be very good the rest of the time (and the rest of the week!).
B'fast: zucchini frittata (.5 pt for parm), banana
Snack: tea, pineapple chunks
Lunch: leftover ww pasta with meat sauce (.5 tsp EVOO) (.5 for parm), pineapple chunks, water
Snack: venti ff latté, pineapple, sliced peaches
Dinner: at a friend's house -- it was great and (inadvertently) pretty core friendly. There were many courses -- a salad, steamed clams, scallops and brussel sprouts, and then a "main course" of short ribs and mashed potatoes that was TOTALLY not core, but because it came after so many courses I only ate a very small "tasting" portion and that was enough. I'm going to count 15 pts for the whole meal, and I think that's being pretty generous.

Great to have you back. I've missed you. Interesting point about this not just being about physical health, but mental too. When I'm following Core as it should be, I'm so much more at peace with myself, and feel sunnier. When I have too much sugar, like last night, my disposition really suffers.

Snack: ff latté
Lunch: salad with oranges and red onion (1 tsp EVOO), roasted veggies (1 tsp EVOO), white bean salad (1 tsp EVOO)
Snack: popcorn, fruit cocktail
Dinner: grilled pork chops, roasted veggies (asparagus, peppers, onions, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, etc.) (1 tsp EVOO), bulgar pilaf (1 pt for butter)
F/V: xxxxx Dairy: xx EVOO: 3 tsp (1 pt)
WPA's: 14-2.5=11.5 for the week

Lunch: leftover bulgar (1 pt) and roasted veggies (1 tsp EVOO), grilled fish, fruit
Snack: sliced peaches, popcorn
Dinner: chicken, red pepper and potato ragout (1 tsp EVOO), blue cheese and onion tart (5 pts) with salad (.5 tsp EVOO), biscotti for dessert (3 pts)

Hi, how ya doin? My WW leader has asked me to submit some Core recipes for the newsletter she send out. I'm going to submit your fish with tomatoes and black olives as one of the first. I love that recipe and it's quick and easy. I think of you every time I make it. Now tell me about the tuna and white bean salad please. Is it on the boards here? Thanks Katie

Wednesday, March 22:
WI: 209.5
Okay, yesterday went a bit off the tracks, but I weighed-in this morning and am 3 lbs down -- yay! I think exercise had the most to do with that.
B'fast: 2 scrambled eggs, 1/2 a navel orange
Snack: tea (.5 pts for sugar), banana, 1 pt worth of banana bread
Lunch: ww couscous, leftover chicken breast with potato and pepper and tomato ragout (1 tsp EVOO, 1 pt for the potatoes at lunch since I'm having ww pasta for dinner)
Snack: fruit cocktail, popcorn, 2 oz lean ham, a few steamed carrot coins
Dinner: halibut poached in a tomato-caper-black olive ragout (1 tsp EVOO), served over ww pasta, with some steamed green beans
F/V: xxxxx Dairy: none! how'd that happen? EVOO: check
AP's: none -- didn't meet my deadline at work, so had to stay late WPA's: 35-3.5=21.5
